I wanted to take a moment to thank you for making this video. We traveled from Las Vegas to the Azores specifically because of this video. Words can't describe how beautiful and amazing Flores Island is. We were blown away by it. The 20 min hike to the falls was tough but it was so worth it. We thought now we know why you was sweating during that hike..lol. By the way Mystic Tours is a great option we used. She did an amazing job of showing us Flores. She was so sweet and nice. Thank you again. It was a trip of a lifetime.

As an Azorean living now in Canada I left the Azores (São Miguel island) when I was about 6 y.o. I am now 54. I went back to the Azores about 5 years ago. I was a-m-a-z-e-d. Absolutely beautiful and so, so, so, clean and beautiful shades natural green everywhere and the scenery was amazing. If you want natural beauty and a quiet, calm, stressless vacation with natural hot springs you can bathe in and are into serenity and peace, then the Azores is your destination. I have been longing to go back.

I do have to say that I was a bit shocked to see all of those trees cut down in Flores. I believe the Acores tries to maintain it's natural beauty, so this was a shocker! I'm in Flores right now, second time after 2020. And yes it's a real paradise. I was sure it is the most beautiful island of the archipelago.....but after I saw Sao Jorge I'm not sure anymore :)))) anyway, they are all great, I also like Graciosa a lot which many don't visit. Tomorrow Santa Maria, the only one I haven't seen yet

hey, so my girlfriend is form Flores and we just stumbled upon this video and I am so excited that she is is excited to tell me things aboutt her island through your video. HOWEVER I got to realise that half of the things you told about this video is partially misinterpreted and wrong. I have never seen my girlfriend being so critical about things but this was one hell of a critical commentary which also made me realise new things about my gf. This "cut down" forest was the result of hurricane Lorenzo... a small Tornado broke down all this trees. The remaining wood is cut down to clear the area.
