"Mesopotamia" and "Quiche Lorraine" are two of my top B52s favorites. "Deadbeat Club" and "Channel Z" are also good.

I love “Quiche Lorraine”! When I feel goofy I sing it to my dogs. They listen because they have to😜

This is one of my favorite B-52 songs! Probably the best song about making counterfeit money ever. "Walk into the bank try to pass that trash"... great lyrics and concept. I think Love Shack is the ultimate paaarty dance hit. In that video you can spot RuPaul dancing in the crowd in the living room. The homeowners didn't care to be in the video but you see them out back doing yard work while the party rages on...

They're in the Basement making Counterfit Cash, India!! This was the Best Part of the 80s as far as I'm concerned.. It was such a creative and fun time to be young.

It's about printing up counterfeit money! I love the B-52's. They were the ULTIMATE party band. Another great song from this LP was "Song for a Future Generation" (1983, US#9 on the Billboard Dance chart). A much later hit you overlooked was "Channel Z" a song about environmental destruction (1989, US#1 on the Billboard Alternative chart). One of their last hits was "Good Stuff" (not gonna lie, it's basically about cum) back in 1992 (On the Billboard Hot100, it climbed to US#28, but it US#1 on the Billboard Alternative chart for four weeks).

For some reason, out of all the B-52s songs I'm curious for reactors to check out are the songs from Bouncing Off The Satellites more than anything else. Such songs like: "Girl From Ipanema Goes To Greenland", "Wig" and especially "Detour Thru Your Mind".

Omg, you have so much to delve into with them! There are sooo many good songs. Yes, this is about counterfeiting in your basement. 😅 They write some very strange lyrics but it's aways a party with these guys. Very few serious songs, but there is a real beauty called Aint it a Shame. A very unique departure from the typical dance your butt off Bs. You really do have to do the official video for Rock Lobster, simply because the song is so iconic. Some others I think you would really enjoy, official video for Deadbeat Club and Planet Z.

The '80s were the Reagan era, super uptight people were in charge who were very intolerant...kinda like now. The B-52s were a breath of fresh air. I love this one because who doesn't like a song about counterfeiting money? The album Whammy! starts with three top notch tracks, this song, Whammy Kiss, and, Song for a Future Generation.
