Great video, Matt! I really enjoyed watching you explore the Backstage Lands and all the amazing architecture in Adventure Woods. Your attention to detail really shows in the way you design and build these parks, and it's always a pleasure to see the creative ways you incorporate different elements and themes into your builds. Keep up the fantastic work and can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Those big youtubers may have the numbers in subscribers, but when it comes to random tangents, whiskey reviews and blue banana farmers you’re absolutely unmatched Matt. I for one know where i’ll be getting my KSP2 content from!

They will have a lot of followers who get interested in the game, who will probably eventually join the KSP community, where they will inevitably find their way here. Plus I don't see any of the big youtubers doing 40 part series of anything. Most of them haven't played KSP since the launch of the first game, so they will just be bad at it. Matt's content will definitely be superior.

Some days, I am an elephant. Some days, I am a squirrel. (My memory's all over the place.) Wait, what's the average IQ of a squirrel, anyway? That 2nd warehouse did come out quite nice. The first one is 👌 LOL 3 Abrams tanks, just in case they had a Veterans Day! I thought I was the only one who took "just in case" that far. XD But I'm learning, as do we all. A Windows 10 update bricked my computer. Like, "This is not a bootable drive," bricked. And then it happened to my friend. I only wish I'd put KSP on my USB drive, though I only regret losing 2 SSTOs. One is the seaplane I'd just finished; it came out beautifully. Interesting about the 4090, thanks Matt. I'd be all right, I'm a little bit obsessive about making sure cables are plugged in properly. But then I wouldn't actually need more than a 10xx anyway. (probably) 4k impressed me in retrospect. I installed a 4k 28" monitor, played Forza Horizons for the first time, thought it was all right, and broke the 4k monitor trying to fix my desk. Then I played Forza Horizons in 1080p, and you know what? I couldn't see the road markings or signs until I was right up close to them. Realistic British road markings and signs -- some of the clearest street signage in the world -- are basically invisible in 1080p until you're right on top of them. The other great thing about 4k is text rendering, but that's a whole other essay. Stuff breaking is a whole other _angry_ rant. We've had the technology to make adaptable UIs since the 90s and the need for them was already clear at the turn of the century, but... well, it would take a psychology thesis to explain the rampant and pernicious hate for progress, I think. Actual progress, I mean; not marketing bumpf. But progress has to be pushed through in every field, doesn't it? Remember how the concept of gravity assists was nearly lost as soon as it was discovered? A mathematician discovered they were possible, but didn't explain them very well. It took someone else, explaining and promoting them, to get NASA to start planning missions using gravity assists rather than waiting for nuclear engines. I wish I'd done my part to promote adaptable UI in the early 00s, though it wouldn't have been pleasant. My sympathies for your hand troubles, Matt. At least you've got 2 of them, eh? ;) Spider? Normally, I can handle them, but there was this one time when I turned the light on in my bedroom, and the light revealed, _on top of my light switch_ (which was a little thicker than normal), _right next to where my hand had just been,_ this _built_ spider! You know how normally spider legs are all spindly? This one had muscles. And it was black with a sheen to it, like a black leather jacket. Every time I tell this story, I wish I'd got a closer look, but at the time, I'd had enough of the day already, I'd just got back from something I couldn't cope with (because my parents were always forcing me into things I couldn't cope with,) and this *_dangerous alien monster_* was sitting right next to where my hand had just been. I ran out of the room and very apologetically got my dad to deal with it. Good bye friend Matt! 👋👋👋 I love your outros! 😄

Love the video. The parking lot in front of the building based on a school would be a nightmare. The middle 4 parking spots are far too close to one of the sides, so you wouldn’t even have a full car length between the parking spots, making it essentially impossible to get out.

It's not strictly user error causing the cable melt; the design cheaped out on the mechanical bonding and uses solder joints instead of crimping. If you only ever plug it in once and don't ever put strain on it by closing a side panel on it, it'll be fine, but if you upgrade your motherboard and move the card to it, you'll be straining those solder joints. An aftermarket cable might be better due to having better mechanical joints, or it could just avoid strain better, e.g. by being a right-angle connector that doesn't run into side panels...

Personally I still consider not having positive confirmation of correct cable installation, when incorrect installation can cause damage, a major design fault and not user error.

In the beginning I can definitely see Markiplier and Jack and some others trying to play KSP 2; and since they probably haven't played since the launch of KSP, they will be really bad at the game and unfamiliar with the controls. They will probably do a single one-off 1.5 hour livestream where they stumble around the parts list and spend most of the time figuring out the controls and movement in the VAB, and they will just barely achieve orbit one time before the stream is over and they never play it again. they can be funny and entertaining, but despite that it will probably be a painful stream to watch, especially for Markiplier. Another thing that could happen is they end up playing multi-player, and they get distracted just messing around crashing pre-built planes into each other and screaming, but not learning anything about the game or achieving anything. You really can't just pick the game up like that and learn it all within a 1.5 hour livestream while being entertaining at the same time, but I just have the feeling that's what they are going to try to do anyways. They might give the game another shot at a later date, but by the time they get around to it, they would have already forgotten everything they learned. There definitely won't be any multi-part series or any point where they actually learn how to play competently. But they will get some of their followers interested in the game and bring them into the KSP community; and I'm sure many will find their way to you whenever they are ready to see a real gameplay series, or a mission with someone who knows the game well, makes amazing videos, and can show us all of the things. The big youtubers and streamers will probably indirectly help your channel in that way. I don't see any way it would hurt your channel. I'm very excited for KSP2, and seeing what the community does with it.
