Dutch, so glad you caught the heart worms early. My first Rescue Boxer had one of the worse cases our vet had ever seen and didn't expect Sadie to survive the treatment, but thank God she came thru with flying colors and was with me another 10 years until she was taken by lymphoma. That heart storm preventative is definitely a must, especially living of grid! God Bless!

Yes Dutch dogs cats are our prized possessions for sure and we are always blessed to see other animals in families as well. Sounds like from your channel and Brandys chnnel all is fine. I loved how you plan on moving the camper to the property. It sounds like a great idea. Shower looks great.

Awe, sweet Gabby. I can tell you my son rescued a dog that had really bad heart worms, the treatments can be super hard on them. They told my son to make sure she didn't get a lot of exercise during the treatments. It is supposed to be more dangerous if they get their heart rate up really fast. So just make sure she doesn't run and go to crazy. Sending prayers that she'll be fine. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️

There have been a lot of people that have dogs that have contracted heart worms. Lori had one that went thru treatment. So far all I know have recovered well. Praying for Gabby to do well too.

I’m glad that Gabby is getting treatment. Heart worm is not something to gloss over. They are not parasites, they are worms (6-12”) that grow around the Heart, Lungs, and blood vessels constricting flow. The worms cause hard breathing, coughing, pain, and eventually death. Treatment (3 injections) is costly, and is 100% preventable. If your animals are truly part of the family, please make sure the preventative RX is given every month along with Flea/Tick RX.

I have a dog that had to go through those horrible painful shots(treatment). I also have a foster right now who had his first shot yesterday and second today. He is just a little thing about 17 lbs. Please everyone keep up with the monthly preventative so your dogs don't have to go through this. I beg of you!!!

We had a dog that had hart worms. We adopted her knowing that she had them. Bridget was a 12 year old Golden Retriever. She was great with our kids. Now we have three Pitbulls. Tank our oldest is 13, Hailey our female is 9 and Ghost is our 6 month old Blue Nose. They are all great dogs. They have been the best. So prayers for your Fur Baby. Great video today. Prayers for Gabby to recover from the Heart Worm problem. German Shepards are such beautiful animals and very loyal. I had a wonderful Shepard when I was young. He would let anyone in the house and would check them out. If he thought they were questionable he would not allow them to leave until one of us told him it was okay. I’ve had German shepherds and I know they can live to around 17 years. My shepherd had hip displacement and he lived until he was 11. Gabby and Gracie are beautiful and look very healthy. I believe gabby will beat the heart worms and she will give you many more years. ❤

Hey, would love that generator! Our electric is always popping off and I worry about the fridge food. Once it was off for 3 weeks when we had an ice storm. When you're 79, soon to be 80, there isn't much that can be done but sit and wait for someone else to fix what's broken. Love you guys! Keep on keeping on and God bless!

I think the camper at the Creek Property is perfect, a place to cool off or if you want to take the girls hunting for a weekend trip, at least half way comfortable beds

Both dogs look beautiful. Gabby is still so playful for an older dog. So many dogs get to that age and just slow down. I have it in my phone Calender, with alerts set for when my dogs shots are due, when her flea/tick/heartworm medication is due. I use Symparica Trio, all three medications in one, so it's easier not to forget a dose of something. So glad that the vet is optimistic about her treatment.

I had an older dog with heart worms, I just kept her on preventative instead of treating her because she was too old to get through it safely. She lived to be 14, as a golden retriever that’s a really long life. I love watching y’all and really need a solar generator.
