My ex had student loan debt, other debt, a crappy job, an unfinished degree, spent all my money, and used the court system against me. Guys, we know that sexism and discrimination against men exists, there is no doubt. You have nothing to protect you from what the courts will do to you, because the system isn't setup to be fair and equitable to both parties and even the children, think about it, keeping a man away from his kids and making him fight for equal custody , how could that be in the best interest of the child, It isn't! That was my marriage. Once I was fully committed, with the kids and working my butt off, the "switch" happened, and I had no choice but to just keep going. When she "switched" she became a feminist, albeit not by name, but just by buying into the notion that as a women she was entitled to more than this, and to live as she wanted, but a husband has no rights, only obligations They "really mean it" when they commit for life.
