If you hit salads as well as strikers and thunders the way suggested in the video, we have a tier 0 orcust format after DANE. If you really need to hit salads though, limit circle to 1 to hit the consistency. Any hit to gazelle or wolf (especially to 1 or 0) makes the deck tier 2.5 at best, which Konami won't want till after nats or after the next round of salad support is released. Also the hit to scythe is already an indirect hit to salads anyway.

OCG Orcust don't even use PK or VFD anymore. They realized that running that fills the deck with garnets and bricks, and that for Salaman meta you don't need like 4 or 5 disruptions when 2-3 is enough and your consistency is boosted by a huge lot. The PK rank-up spell is only dangerous because of Azathot and Redoer, which are the real problem cards.

For Banlist points that you may forgot, for me of course: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon nees to be banned because of guardragons looping him on other to make Saryuja; Maybe, just maybe, put Cyr or Graff to 2, not both, since they are a hard once por turn and the deck doenst do anything right now; The same of above goes to Shirut of Nekroz; If Thunder Dragon is hit (Colossus at one) we could get Brilliant Fusion to 2 and maybe, maybe, Snow at one. Those cards get hit because Konami doesnt want to hit Thunder Dragons combos, but id colossus is limited, we could make have them back; Finally, ban that monster on Thunder Dragons deck that is untargetable and loop a card from the opponent hands. Levianir is somewhat fine since is a hard once per turn and its a new card, also who cares about Dark World monsters? Thats my banlist suggestions, more them predictions, nice video as always

About salamangreat: imo, semilimiting both sunlight Wolf and balelynx should be enough. This way they lose a bit of defensive power and a bit of recurrence. Also you need to consider that, even if salamangreat are going to be dominant deck for the next month (unless they get a very hard hit) the spellcaster SD and the orcust suppor are coming, bringing us some decks that are way stronger than salaman

What about limiting Roar? It still lets the deck do it's normal plays but now you can d.d. crow away their only copy and if they set it off of its own effect it's gone for good. On the other hand, it doesn't hurt the consistency, it just takes away a bit of its recovery. A hit that matters, but not one that matters immensely. Perfect for keeping the deck in check for weakened Striker and Thunder.

I think lady debugger to 1 and gazelle to 2 is enough to make salamangreat less powerful, cause the real problem with salamangreats is that you can make a +4 WITH ONLY 1 F*CKING CARD, and that card is lady debugger(or foxy if you excavate gazelle, but that's only if you are lucky), with only one card, you end with sunlight wolf, miragestalio, jack jaguar, the field spell, and you can ALSO, RECOVER THE F*CKING GAZELLE OR THE F*CKING ASH BLOSSOM, and all based on a lady debug and gazelle, so limiting lady debug doesn't kill the combo, but makes it harder to pull out, also, by semi-limiting gazelle is less the chance of excavating a gazelle with foxy, and like that, the combo gots harder to make, and also, maybe limiting the circle is also a good idea, cause circle is basicly R.O.T.A. for salamangreats, and with it you can search gazelle and the think we dont want is being able to search/draw gazelle every single game

As for my controversial picks these are all just heavy biases that don't really impact our meta and more just locals and regionals because I'm just sick of these decks at this point. Ban Dinomight (I like stun decks but TD is just irritating with the fact you can tribute on your opponents turn and you can tribute spells and traps) and Bone Tower (FTKs). Limit Toadally Awesome (I think that paleofrog's ability to recure the card is just to annoying). Semi Panthism of Monarchs (Monarchs are way too slow to even need Panthism at one). No unlimits. I know I'm gonna get alot of shit for this but really I hate these deck in both playing and playing against.

Banned: Azathoth, it's the only problem with PK RUM since it's generic, unlike Kali Yugi which requires Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon and only Pend Magicians can make that play efficiently, with synchro Ib searching World Legacy Burgeoning makes True King of All Calamities easier than PK RUM. Also banned: REDMD, it breaks Guardragons, without it you significantly cripple them. Limited: Saryuja, needs to be at 1, at multiple copies it's degenerate. Also limited: Jackalope, always special summons and deck thins at the same time unlike Tsuchinoko or Nessie, hitting all 3 of them would be too much for the rogue decks at this point. Semi-Limited: Collosus, Thunder Dragons have yet to win anything but Collosus at 3 is still a bit too much (eventually to 1).

I feel like Colossus and Kagari should be semi limited rather than limited, Thunder Dragon haven't actually won a YCS yet so I don't feel they justify THIS big a hit. The only real problem is 3 Colossus and Dark Matter milling Goliath. I personally would ban Update Jammer because like it stops Salad from having its hyper consistent otk and stops Borreload from being such an amazing board sweep. Kagari to 2 is fine if you put Multirole to 1 because you have to play Hercules Base to grind and you take away a huge amount of Sky Strikers T1 plays by putting Kagari at 1. (They can either Engage twice which will often be needed to get a live Multirole going or not Kagari and end on 1 negate in which you may as well just play Orcust.) I feel Orcusts are definitely too powerful as they present to many 1 card 3 negate plays through Bardiche but other than that I agree with pretty much everything else. (I personally would argue Jack is more powerful than Snek because it's more diverse but that's not super relevant)

On the first banlist Farfa reviewed, there were some really ridiculous choices aswell Portal of the Six from 1 to 3 allows really ridiculous mechanics, I bet you can extra link your opponent without even trying hard with three portals. Master Peace is absolute bullshit and had us under his reign of terror for long enough Also, all I have to say about Astrograph Sorcerer is exactly how I feel about Kirin: a very heartfelt "*fuck* that card". Second banlist would be too much to talk about everything, but that person certainly has little knowledge of balance. Eater of Millions and CDI to 0? Unlimit Terrortop in Link Days? Confiscation to 3? C'mon. Saryuja for me has the same thing as Omega - playing against one is annoying, but handleable, but multiple copies of it just feel unfair to play against. I'd also say limit it.

Infinity is a once per turn negate that is easily baitable with the right cards and is outable in the Cyber Dragon mirror. Only decks that can make Nova can run the card so it has limited accessibility. No more or less ban worthy than any other once per turn negate monster.

I think if you want to hit Salad boys, you'd probably bring Sunlight Wolf to 2. It's not enough to outright kill the deck, but hurts its recycling and gives it a glaring weak point. I don't think this hit will happen until at least after Order of Spellcasters to hit Salads, that way we'll have a different starter deck to buy. Balelynx, Foxy, and Circle don't do enough on their own. Flame Bufferlo and Debug are good for the rest of the game and don't break the deck. Gazelle and Spinny are essential to make the deck work, and while Mirage Stallio is definitely powerful, I don't think its at a point of being absolutely game-breaking (Yet. We may see support that warrants a ban). Other cards people run are cards like Ash, Thanos, and Imperm, which are bad hits overall.

I think either hitting Scythe, Sanctum, or Trap Trick will be good as a hit to Salad. Salamangreats are not inherently unfair. It’s the “You can’t do anything” Salamangreats that are unfair. I think hit the floodgates and let the deck go crazy. But Rivalry, Scythe, Gozen is very oppressive.

For salads they could hit ladydebug. This card has been in the game for a bit longer than the salads, is super strong as it is a 1 card combo, and is the kind of monster that usually gets hit cuz is a searcher. Banning it may be a bit too hard, but limiting it would harsh a bit the consistency of the deck.
