@Hélène Montreuil Then explain how come there is a New *England* in the USA? And our stores and other mashed up together like it's Central London in England, UK? WE AMERICANS are the ones that are probably the more British outside of the UK, We're just Independent and Free, that's all. We still drive the royal carriage in Virginia after all these years. And still fly the Grand Union Flag and our other British flags flown on the mainland. We fought against the Redcoats in 1775-81 and now We're Wearing Them! - Bearskin hat, Red Coat, White or Blue suit pants, Honoring the mother country just as the same time as our own country, You guys may have had Kings but they were ALL modern Kings, We Americans had British Kings who were fit to be medieval, 1607 is the exact year date, Just a few years earlier would Her Majesty Queen Anne's death would be. When Her Majesty The Queen came to visit the USA in 2007, She was greeted like she was home. And now look at us today, Taking charge in royal presents, Since May 19th, 2018, The Royal Family has received an American, And has once again on May 6th, received another American, The Queen loves America so much that i think she chooses the revolutionary country and her country more than Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. You guys may have a royal flag as a standard but what We Americans have is something DEEPER than just royal representation. I want you to take a look at a video to understand how British that America has been vs. how British that Canada has been. President Washington's family was actually related to His Majesty King George III, President George H.W. Bush was actually related to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Twice Removed as cousin, and President George W. Bush is still actually related to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Twice Removed as cousin. Canada doesn't have true history with The Royal Family like we do, Because America is British before Canada was a noble idea. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4mlZ2d-f6ymj7M

The band does a nice job. Thank you for posting. I must ask one questions: Where on earth are the spectators along the parade route or during the playing of the anthems? It's almost as if this to be a private event and the public were asked to please stay away.

It was after the Remembrance Day Service and the Regiment retires to the Armoury after doing the March past at the front of the Cathedral.
@GeneHChan5 жыл бұрын
This was on Remembrance Sunday, in the province of Ontario, which follows the British custom of observing Remembrance Day on a Sunday. That might explain the apparent absence of a crowd for the parade. Other Canadian provinces, except Nova Scotia and Quebec, observe Remembrance Day on November 11, with the expected crowds at the parades. For example, this video is from New Westminster, BC, on November 11 2017 (I'm playing trumpet in the scarlet-coated band.) kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4aqeZqHlNVrnqc
