Michael always has a lot to say in interviews, despite her status as the "quiet Bangle". And it's always really interesting stuff. I remember when she did an online Q&A session and spent hours there, answering every last question. :)

Classic historical 80s piece!!...thanks so much for posting...This is the Bangles before they hit it huge with "Walk like an Egyptian"..I remember that song was everywhere!! and the Bangles were on their way to becoming like the female Beatles...that never happened,,but these girls still rock and have a plethora of enjoyable music..I just like this piece because it got them when they were relatively known (hit with Manic Monday) but right on the verge for their 15 minutes of exploding fame!

freakin' awesome little story about Nimoy.. how cool is that? being close friends with Spock.. one of the galaxy's smartest human.. ok, half-human. kidding aside, big fan of the Bangles, especially Susanna Hoffs (i know.. who didn't?), and I was always a fan of Leonard Nimoy as well.. of course, love Star Trek & Spock, as well as his various rolls such as in Mission Impossible ( I believe he played a character named "Paris") and of course his "In Search of" tv series about world mysteries, strange phenomena, paranormal and extra-terrestrial... and he's been a lot more stuff I can't name all right here.

Well, I was a teenager in the '80s, and I remember regretting it was not the 70s! Everything seemed plastic compared to the 70s or the 60s...It was indeed the beginning of the drum machine/sampler/sequencer era...The Bangles for me was the only good thing that had come out of the 80s! Of course, it was not as sterile as today...
