This is why I rarely watch the news these days. He did NOT whistle at that woman and before she died, she ADMITTED that she told a lie about it (to her husband). It's a long story so I'll spare the details, but research it and you'll be able to confirm what I just said.

This barn should become the site to the memory of Emmett Till and a sacred domain to those who loved him, a place of respect to the persecuted and a memorial to honor those who stepped forward to do the right thing and seek justice. And bless his mom for keeping that casket open, as we know how heartbreaking this must have been during those painful days of upheaval and loss. Research Bryant's store. The current owners, children of one of the jurors, want $4 million dollars for the property. Yet in 2011 they somehow received civil rights restoration money to restore the gas station that is next door to the grocery, even though the gas station has no significant history. I was fortunate enough to see the store in 2019. I was both saddened and infuriated at the condition of the building. The owners are on the wrong side of history and will be judged accordingly.
