the link for the waffles asked me to sign up or create a website lol can you post the recipe for the waffles in the description? 🙏🏼 This is my fav recipe for waffles 😋
@PlantifullyBased Жыл бұрын
hi yeah sorry these older videos link to an old blog that doesn't exist it is in the description box now, glad to hear you enjoy it! 2 tbsp vegan butter [28g] 2 tbsp coconut sugar [24g] 2 tsp baking powder [10.4g] 1/2 cup whole wheat flour [60g] 1/2 cup white flour [60g] 1 cup cup plant milk [240 mL] 1 tsp vanilla extract Method First, measure the two flours out and mix them together to create one flour mixture. Then cream the butter and sugar together. It helps if the butter is slightly softened. Once they are creamed together add in about two thirds of the plant milk, half of the flour mixture, baking powder and vanilla extract. Mix the batter together and try to get out any clumps from the flour. Then slowly add in the rest of the flour and milk. I like to work with it in smaller amounts so I have more control over the consistency of the batter. It allows me to add less or more of the flour/milk if necessary. The batter should be thick but still have some movement to it. Heat up your waffle iron and then add in your batter. If using a mini waffle iron use about 1/4 cup of batter, if using a regular size use about 1/2 cup of batter. The waffle will take about 3-5 minutes to cook. You will see steam coming out of the waffle iron and once the steam stops coming out your waffles are done!

Vanilla extract swirls are the best! Your waffles look amazing Francesca! I love it and I'm obsessed with your cute waffle maker, ever since you told we which one you had, want to get a mini one but debating cause I already have a large one hmm! 😂Oh and those crispy edges look so good, 🙌🏻 haha I feel you girl, on after taking photos of my food it always ends up cold or soggy but usually taste yummy anyways lol! Hope your day was amazing love ❤️

they are so pretty!!! it's like a little vanilla extract explosion. Yes I love the mini waffle iron so much I use it more than my big one haha. Yeah I was like these were crispy before they were saturated in maple syrup hahaha.

I know this is an old video, but I just got this Dash baby waffle maker and I tried making vegan waffles for my kids but I found that it was too gummy in the middle or it didn’t look like it was fully cooked. Can I ask how long you cooked each waffle for roughly? Thanks for your advice!
@PlantifullyBased3 жыл бұрын
hi Angela!! uhhhh I honestly can't remember entirely I would say probably about 5 to 6 minutes. did you try my recipe or a different one? the one thing I learned about waffle irons is let it keep cooking until it stops making steam! then once it finally stops steaming you are usually done, hope that helps

I tried your recipe this morning. Ended up being too runny even after I added two more Tbsp of flour 🙁 flavor is good. 👌🏼 not sure what I did wrong!
@PlantifullyBased3 жыл бұрын
Hi MariBel oh no I am sorry to hear it was still very runny, I am not honestly sure what would've happened but if you try again then I would start out with 1/2 cup nondairy milk and then add in as you need!

They look pretty tasty. I should get a waffle iron :)
@PlantifullyBased6 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! They are really delicious. You should definitely get a waffle iron. If you have a Marshall's or TJ Maxx around you go there! They have them for so cheap and they are really nice.
