I absolutely love both Bass Gang and VoicePlay. Therefore I seriously love when they cover the same song and do such different interpretations. It adds fun to listen to them both. I never rank one of then above the other, there is place in my heart for variety, and love each of them for their contributions. So both Tomi and Geoff ranks high for me as Disney princesses. I liked Ryan's edits. It was fun. BTW loved Ryans voice when you sang together. A pity he hasn't a larger catalogue for you to analyse as well.

Jennifer! Determined to catch up! Bass Gang ... a Disney cover! Interesting intro, as you say could be any song. Not even any bass right at first. Oh man, Marwan and his eyes! This is very playful. Zany even! The theatrics are almost distracting from what is already a loaded song musically! So many details! Great reaction and analysis Jen!

A tiny complaint about a delightful arrangement: at around 4:10, the background voices sing "big grin," and that's cute and funny, but doesn't it take away the logic of "Are you telling the story or am I?" In the Disney original, the soloist is interrupted with a shout of "Thunder!" That makes more sense as something that annoys the soloist. Or am I missing the point somewhere? Anyway, this version is musically impeccable and absolutely adorable. And your analysis is, as always, very helpful.
