You are so right I remember a time when I went to a women’s house for a weekly meeting that would be held there. I could hear her being beat up by a man. I was so frustrated and scared for her. We were in a third world country. There was no 911 I could call. I was so scared for her and so frustrated because there was nothing I could do. I felt that if I knocked on the door I would have just made it worse since I couldn’t do anything to protect her after I left. My heart breaks for how little I could do. It sounds like Kendy was unloved, abused, scared, alone in her marriage, and looking for love wherever she could find it. It’s so sad when a happy, upbeat, loving, outgoing person gets with a boring, grumpy, controlling, domineering stick-in-the-mud who ruins (or even takes) their happy life. My narcissistic ex-husband promised me all the love in the world and pretended to want a real marriage and connection. As soon as we were married, he turned into a controlling, critical, emotionless robot who wanted to be alone all the time and couldn’t stand it if I wanted to (God forbid) leave the house to do a fun activity. Poor Kindy and her family.

Indeed. People's judgement sometimes irritates me. She was an awful wife, she cheated on him multiple times. She was also stupid. It doesn’t matter what the situation is with your spouse, if you are set in getting a divorce, move out first before you plan to ever send the divorce papers. Living under the same roof, especially with a controlling person and bringing home a divorce petition while having an affair is nothing more than asking for it. I feel terrible she died, but some people can only take so much. There is a “lot” of anger when a spouse totally betrays you, and for a controlling man, well it’s no surprise he lost it, with her right in front of his face. You gotta think and remember: other people (your spouse) do not feel good when you’re cheating on them and leaving them: it’s tough.

What sticks out to me first thing is that fake crying and the way he was faking the way he was talking so it would seem like he was crying when clearly he was not. Then the fact that she supposedly took her own life while taking a bath?? No, a woman isn't typically going to want to be discovered nude. She may commit the act in a tub to limit the mess to that area, but she's gonna be dressed and she's gonna probably leave a note of explanation. The lack of blood in that bath water was also a sign. Actually there were so many signs pointing to guilt it was unbelievable.
