Are people "fatigued" by Batman or Spider-Man or Marvel? I don't think so. I am already in love with Barry Keoghan's version of the Joker. So freaking satanic and insane. I love the aesthetic to him. The hair, the eyes, the voice, the smile caused by his birth defect, the look of someone who has survived being burned in a vat of chemicals (even though Matt Reeves stated that it isn't the case with this Joker). Everything about this was picture-perfect. I can't wait to see more of him down the line (but NOT in The Batman 2).

I think it's less that people are fatigued by Joker and more that Batman just has such a great rogues gallery and there are so many villains that haven't gotten proper time in the spotlight. I am really excited about this version of the Joker, but I hope that for now he remains a background character and they save him to be Robat BattinBat's final challenge. Give him a scene or two in each one until finally he gets the main villain role in the last one (of course depending on how many of these we get).

I think these directors mean well but theres no batman without joker and vice versa...in every batman movie or show...the first villian we want to see is Joker...whether the main villian or not..i love how they already have a banter and established relationship,,batman went to him because hes the quintessential familiar psychopath, by joke or seriousness he will get into the mind of the riddler or into the deep mind of himself and thats why i love the dynamic here.

I didn't see your video when you were live. But, some of the viewers that popped up on your screen that had negative comments about this portrayal of the Joker don't know what they are talking about. First of all, "The Joker" isn't known as "The Joker" just yet. He is still only known as a serial killer. The serial killer said in the beginning of the scene "It's almost our anniversary". Meaning that they obviously had a run in with each other almost a year ago from that time. According to the comics this serial killer jumped into a vat of chemicals to escape batman. His look here is consistent to what chemical burns can do to a person. How he survived it is another question. Later on down the road he would adopt the name "Joker" from a playing card he felt he resembled. All I'm saying is before viewers make comments make sure you do your homework. This is obviously an earlier time in Batman's life. Where as all the other Batman movies before this one jumped ahead in time. Barry Keoghan did a great job here portraying this villain and whoever the makeup artist(s) are did a great job as well.

New best Joker, IF, they let it get really rated R. This actor will only work if he is allowed to get super dark. In lighter roles, like in Eternals, he doesn't really fit.

I like this alot and there was an interview matt did where he described what his joker was like which made me like it more, now he might not be a GREAT joker like everyone is comparing him too but i think he would be good enough for this universe, i just think everyone needs to stop comparing and hating on it, if you hate it go make your own batman movie w your own shitty joker

Good reaction but alot of the text or whatever they were that was popping up on the screen expect a Heath ledger joker and you just can’t have that I think Barry keoghans joker will top all of them no doubt just because there a heavy Arkham joker feel with the burns and the insanity

bro love the background lights...I am with u what u said...too much joker and i didn't liked this joker that much bze he was talking like Health Ledger but not clear and too much prosthetics...good actors don't use prosthetics so much...Matt Reeves is like getting good actors but putting too much prosthetics on them...the penguin is good but he is tall...like he is getting actors not by the looks and making them look by prosthetics and same goes for the joker.. making gross and scary with prosthetics hides the actual facial emotions..goo actors don't use prosthetics that much...see Health Ledger...good example...and truly speaking for me I expected too much from this movie...still Batman Begins is the best...and waiting for the Ben Affleck's Batman if we get in future...

to the people who r straight up dunking on this portrayal of Joker... i gotta remember this is very early days for the character he is not the full blown Joker at this point of time .. saying stuff like "this actor cant play Joker" .. fkn braindead opinions based on 5 min deleted scene .. where Joker wasn't even the main character..

I feel like Matt Reeves is giving too much of a love letter to the previous Batman films and not doing his own thing. This Joker felt too over the top for some reason but I hope it prove me wrong in the near future.

“Kill-Ian” Murphy… and I hate your chat. They’re no Batman fans and I question you too. I’m not sure about you. Maybe a decent Batman fan but certainly not a hardcore one

I don't know why you care. Your reception of The Batman was lukewarm, to say the least.
