From the time "The Batman" was announced to the time "The Batman" released it was acceptable because Matt Reeve's had to think of and creat an entirely a new world a new gotham, he had to write a story which was very simple storyline but has uniqueness than the other batman movies, he had to cast every single character, shoot the movie, post production and then promote it. So the 5 year delay back then was understandable and acceptable but now we already have the half of the cast, an established world and popularity. This time the 5 year delay is not acceptable.

I think the same way, but recent reports have been saying that the things that are making the script take so long are personal reasons, I do believe we should cut him some slack if thats the case
