My only issue with this movie is... this should've been one of the movies released as part of the DCEU in their build up to Justice League. Many people have said it, and I'll say it again: They did not earn Justice League. They wanted to catch up to Marvel by releasing Justice League now rather than building a decent foundation. And they were off to a terrible start with BvS (Fuck you, it's my opinion. I didn't like it.) and then just... shoved Wonder Woman, Doomsday, and some shit ass cameo's of the Justice League. Man of Steel. Man of Steel 2. This Movie. Wonder Woman. Aquaman. The Flash. Justice League. ESTABLISH your characters. Do you know why the Avengers worked so well? They ESTABLISHED their characters over a series of movies; never making them the star, but always giving us just enough in anticipation of their own movie, or the Avengers itself. Marvel set the stage for doing Comic Movies. All DC had to do was copy it. But just like their Event/Comics... they can't do a fucking thing right.

I agree with you on this movie being a good starting point, if you could disregard contracts and the other actors part of successful movie franchises like Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot (which unfortunately you can't) I'd honestly be all in favour of The Flash being a reboot of the main DC film universe and restarting with a new canon that begins with The Batman and you can recast whatever actors need to be replaced or just continue on with the ones that want to stay but with a new timeline and sequence of films.

You must have lost your fucking mind to post a comment like this. DC was not trying to catch up with Marvel no matter what you say. That's just the spoiled Marvel fan service in you because they've been "successful" or "told the story to your liking". DC had these plans laid out for years. They were doing it their own way without trying to wait 10 damn years for real shit to go down with consequences. Could they have done better, yes but nowhere near not deserving. The Snyder Cut was a good entry point for sequels and establish a world where all the heroes know each other. They didn't all have to have a separate damn film to tell stories that like Marvel. It was unique how they did it. Could they have had 1 or two more films before Justice League or BVS, sure! But hell not all Marvel films needed to happen or even hit hard like others. They aren't perfect but don't disrespect DC like that again because they've done some cool stuff whether you like it or not. That's not opinion whether you like it or not and idc what you say it won't change. I can agree to disagree. Your statement was out of line though.
