Ive seen these videos and im thankful i learned a lot from watching your vids. A bit long but very comprehensive. I find it funny that some viewers here just because they watch your latest video makes it appear that you havent discuss any of the points they are trying to raise trying to make them appear as a bunch of experts yet here they are watching. Lol

Thank you for another good video sir! Very much appreciated! Voltage alone can lead to mistaken judgements, one mandatory step is to check voltage with multimeter when engine is trying to start. If voltage drops too much it means that the battery os most likely done. Some free maintenance batteries can still be opened and checked for water levels. Also theres a sulfatation process that can cause batteries to prematurily malfunction, It can be reversed in some ocasions with slow and persistent charges, some chargers have this function implemented. Modern cars with tons of electronics usually go crazy when this happens, because all systems and sensors lose all references and interpret it as the car is faulty, making It some times starting up but entering emergency mode

Also what i learnt when i turn the key to on position without starting the car m u can see if the battery is dropping voltage then u know the battery is caput.

the battery was probably fine all you had to do was tighten up the loose connection

He said when the vehicle did not start he noticed the terminal was loose. they had to push start the vehicle in order for him to get back. I figure tightening the terminal was the very first thing he did. And when he showed that video he obviously was already home and still it did not start. But i figure youre such an expert thats why youre watching right?

It says 12.7 V however there is no load, so you cannot rely on that

So let me try and understand your logic. So the way to properly check a battery voltage is to put load on it first then check?

@@johnbenley8204 you check it under load and see what the voltage does. If you don't know that, I don't know what to tell you
