I wasn't old enough to see the Oilers though I'm a Titans fan, so I've learned about the Oilers since they are the history of my team. Was on the edge of my seat too! How can you have three huge errors in the punting game like that and be a perennial playoff team all at the same time??? The Oilers were obviously better than the Cowboys in this one. How they didn't get to the AFC championship at least once with that offense is a crime. We have one of the most snake bit franchises ever. I think the Vikings are the only franchise thats more snake bit. The Oilers/Titans have always been so close to greatness, but can rarely ever get it done. Almost makes it worse being like that as opposed to being the Cardinald, Lions or Browns.

What a classic. One of my all-time favorites. Believe it or not, this was an early start so it was just seen in the Texas region and not the rest of the country. The commentary about Al Del Greco was that Houston's previous kicker was fired earlier in the week after shanking a game-winning attempt against the Redskins so Del Greco was a mid-week signee who got a second chance to be the hero. This was Run n Shoot at its finest.

Honestly baffled how crappy the video quality is for 1991. Looks like the NFL bought a boot leg off the black market. I've seen cleaner videos for regular season games from the 1970's.

It was basically just that. Astroturf over concrete. That’s why everyone was wearing elbow pads. Like playing tackle football in the street. Players now days have it so much easier.

Of course because Moon was a way more talented QB if Warren had Troys supporting cast Warren would’ve had a ring during his playing career luckily Warren Moon has a ring with the Seahawks because he was a broadcaster for them during Super Bowl 48 where Seattle made Denver look ridiculous

I read somewhere that said the Oilers had one of the smallest fan bases in the NFL especially towards the final years before their move to Nashville (mainly due to stadium capacity)

Heartbreaking loss for my Cowboys. They should have let Troy throw more. This is a FACT: Jimmy threatened to cut Emmitt if he kept fumbling. Any of my felow Cowboys fans want to disagree...this is fact and backed up in two books and the Cowboys Weekly paper. The bad ref call saved is ass in NYG and he did not have a true back up aside from RIcky Blacke. I wish Jimmy did not get rid of Alonzo Highsmith.

It doesn't matter what you like. Warren Moon is at the top all time passing yardage as a professional QB. That method he used is for 7 step drop backs and better allows him to read the opposite side of the field. It protects his blind side. Some plays just take that long to develop by design.
