I'm so happy that you enjoyed the Hellmire Cinematic! Here's my second attempt at making a cinematic for HELLDIVERS 2.
I'm still learning new ways in making cinematics for Helldivers, but I do really hope they would add a save replay feature per mission, I think that way, a lot more people would create cinematics.

Wow! thank you guys so much for subscribing and supporting the channel! I didn't expect this much reception for this cinematic. I promise as soon as I'm done with work, I will start working on another cinematic for HELLDIVERS 2! I just encountered some delays with the project I'm working on and the heat in my country is my number one enemy right now, real life Hellmire, without the fire-tornadoes, well, the air is on fire, so I guess there's that lol. But I'm pretty sure the project will be done before the week is over. God this operation was epic. I can imagine my Helldiver telling the story to new recruits: "Our forces were still recovering from the "Reclamation" when the news came through. The bots and bugs had attacked us simultaneously. High command ordered the defense but it was no use, our forces were stretched too thin. The bug line was barely holding together. The bot line was collapsing. Our orbital defenses were gone, the Menkent line had fallen. Every single defensive campaign had failed and HQ was on its last legs. The Federation was losing. All surviving Helldivers were to report to Vernen Wells for the final defense. It was one final effort to stop the complete collapse of the western front."

That shot of the eagle airstrike jet flying off into the atmosphere at 0:52 combined with the exact change in music tone just gave me goosebumps. SOOOO GOOOOOD. Thankyou for making this. Utterly amazing. Also the camera angles you use are done really well. You either have natural talent or picked up some great cinematography skills. Well done. It's clearly visible that most of the footage is zoomed in and cropped, but still, it's very creative given how limited the "cinematic" capabilities of the game (e.g. no way to turn off the UI, AFAIK, etc.) I like it!

I think most of the UI can be hidden in settings, either disabled or set to dynamic. Would be very hard to play though.

It is zoomed in, in some shots i just needed to hide parts of the character to make it look less like a gameplay cinematic, but it's hard to fully crop them out because it will lose a lot of quality. And yes, I have set my in-game hud to minimal and I also have a reshade mod that removes all hud elements which makes it 10x more challenging when playing it while making a cinematic hehehe
