And of those two that were volleyed for play, none yielded any points for the returning team. This suggests that a one-on-one matchup between Federer and Williams would’ve been a bloodbath.

Los ingenieros sociales dicen que el «género» es un constructo social. Algunos de ellos incluso afirman que es un constructo TOTALMENTE ARBITRARIO. Los más dementes (por ejemplo Paul-Beatriz Preciado) aseguran que el sexo también lo es. Pero habría una confusión entre la causa y la consecuencia. Los «estereotipos de género» y los «roles de género» serían la causa y no el resultado cultural de ciertas condiciones biológicas evolutivamente adquiridas. Que las condiciones en que hoy vive buena parte de la humanidad desentonen un poco con las habilidades adquiridas por cada sexo a lo largo de decenas de miles de años no significa que sean desechables ni mucho menos, pues implican no sólo diferencias físicas y metabólicas sino también neurológicas y psicológicas. Un sistema educativo que, más allá de enseñar las reglas elementales de la convivencia armónica, se empeña en tratar idénticamente a niños y niñas (con el evidente menoscabo de los instintos masculinos, pues se «iguala» para el lado de las niñas) es un despropósito y hasta un crimen.
