The conditions of the troops were horrible. The Americans didn't all have shoes. The history of America is incredible. Washington was a real hero. The term victory or death was coined at the battle of Trenton. There is so much more they could have covered leading to this but it was good to watch

Great video But personally I think you should have talked more about hugh mercer he never gets the recognition he deserves. to hold your ground while your men break lines and run and when asked by the British to surrender he refused and drew his saber fighting off 7 red coats and being bayoneted multiple times and left for dead. He was a hero who was born in scotland and came to America to start a new life he was a personal friend of Washington and its said Washington missed him and was deeply sadend after he died. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤝🇺🇸
