Nice work Zach! I just finished doing the same thing, 15 years of work rebuilding a house for what I thought other people would like. Take a look at Lifeproof vinyl tile flooring at Home Depot (you can get it in plank and other designs too of course) I installed in throughout my entire main floor of my house, and was VERY happy with it. Super easy, and fast to install, and very "high end" look, but with all the benefits of vinyl.

We moved into our present house in Missouri from Florida. The kitchen needed a new counter replacement and we went with granite and the island was at an angle which caused a problem because walking around it was hard, so we turned it and we could go bigger and have a place for bar stools. We also had the new sink installed from the bottom. My wife bought a new sink faucet that was actually from a German company which works perfectly for this. In the process of replacing the bathroom fixtures and new water lines. It's really nice to have a walk out basement with several rooms. One being a huge bedroom and the other bedroom that my wife uses for her office. Plus the finished living room down there. All new carpet in both rooms with a quality pad underneath. Whomever put the carpet down in the family room didn't put down any pad and where they pieced the carpet together was running in several directions. The previous owners didn't ever fix anything that needed fixing. Back of the house everytime it rained water ran down the siding and we had a new larger gutter installed with the bigger downspouts with gutter guards since the back of the house is 40 feet tall. Had to have a new pump replacement from the well, water heater and water softener installed because of the hard water. New heat pump the second winter. It's always something. Each house we have bought has had many fixes over the years and now I'm 71 getting tired of having to clean up, fix or whatever. We also had new windows installed and got rid of the big doors that go out to the deck with a sliding door. We are having the whole house resided with a polymer siding and not vinyl, it's like the material inside of an airplane. The company makes their own siding and it's very easy to clean, they say that mildew will not grow on it. All the siding is put up with screws and metal backing strips with a styrofoam backing that conforms to the siding plus a house rap first.

To Zach and family, thank you for a great video ! My advice is keep the van, best car you will ever own, and pitch the michelin tires, worse tires for blow outs ( I have had 3) the Goodyears are good tires. Your kitchen looks great, anyone would be very proud of it, keep the floors as they are, floor looks good, entryway can be worked on as needed. You and your wife have a very nice home and family.

I just replaced all the kitchen hardware in our new-to-us small house. I would think you could go online at Menard's and order the remaining hardware for you cabinets. If they don't have them in stock, you could try looking up the Home Depot or Lowe's websites. The search will be quick if you have the package for the ones you got at Menard's. I used the same ones from our old house, and Lowe's here had the same ones, although we got the originals at Home Depot. Those are really nice cabinets, ours need replacing and I may try to find the same kind for our replacements. It's good to see another video from you, I have been wondering how you've been doing. I am surprised your van has lasted this long! Ours was a POS, always in the shop. It ate calipers for breakfast as it was in every 3-6 months. After a year, it was traded in for a dodge ram and that is living up to the Dodge name. Takes a chit kicking and keeps on tickin! It's never been in the shop in 10 years!

For the light protection for the rear lights, buy a 1/4 rubber mat from walmart cut it in quarters, double them up, bolt 2 together and bolt to the fenders as cheap mud flaps.

Put metal taillight boxes on the rear ones or even a flat piece bigger than the light so the rocks wont hit them. Mine has them on the sidemarkers with a metal piece sticking out on both ends of the light never had one break
