You are right I like heating vents in the ceilings. To add to your comment floor vents in kitchen's are horrible dropped food is always in them😩

05-24-23 I think I would get rid of the bedroom on the end and move the laundry room there with a 3rd bath with a shower (no tub ) unless you have a dog, so you can add a carport or garage later, move the 2nd bath where the laundry room was and you can add the extra space to the "family room " or split it with the " pantry " or you can make a jack-n-jill bath room between the kids rooms and still have a big " pantry " and " family room", I would add a single or double door to the " family room " act as a sound barrier and perfect for holding in heat or extra a\c, but if you plan on making some extra magic you might need that 3rd bedroom.

Wooden racks and shelving and no carpet anywhere . And sheetrock everywhere,but it's okay if its not in the closets 😊😊
