How To Make Everything

Күн бұрын

What makes a cup of coffee good? Andy sets out to find out and deconstruct the three most important aspects of making the perfect cup of coffee: the bean, the roast, and the brew.
Starting out with the bean, Andy visits Cafe Imports and learns about why it's grown in the mountains and tastes how unique different regions and styles of beans can be and which ones he prefers.
Special thanks to Dogwood Coffee and Cafe Imports for help filming these segments!

|| ABOUT ||
Today, getting what you need is as easy as a trip to the store. From food to clothing, energy, medicine, and so much more, Andy George will discover what it takes to make everything from scratch. His mission is to understand the complex processes of manufacturing that is often taken for granted and do it all himself. Each week he’s traveling the world to bypass the modern supply chain in order to harvest raw materials straight from the source. Along the way, he’s answering the questions you never thought to ask.

Educational stuff typically doesn't garner much attention until they get a following. Even some of the big ones like Periodic Videos don't have over a million and none of them have the following of people like pewpewdie.

Just have to get this out there. Defects with robusta aren't associated with the species but rather with the poor processing. With good processing, Robusta can be a serious contender for palate preference by the coffee drinking market. Peace
@drax14QC

Yes, 100%. Some Robusta coffees like Kappi Royal, are really high quality, more expansive and rare than some Arabicas. Classic italian espresso blends generally have some % of robusta to balance out the acidity and add to the taste and generally make excellent tasting coffees, at least for me personally.

The biggest problem is probably the spread of the channel, if you can manage to get popular by, for example, spreading through the media or big fans it would be far more easy to get to the 750000 subs, as his content is top imo

They finally have over half a million, but I've always been confused how they don't have like 5 million. This channel is definitely the quality and has the interesting subject matter to make it a fairly large channel, it constantly astounds me how slowly they've grown, even with the virality of a few projects like the sandwich!

HTME, I really like the flow of this video! My big problem with some of your older videos was that they would end so abruptly, and I think the little conclusion summing up this video was nice. Keep up the great work, the videos you guys make are some of my favorite youtube content and I can't wait to see more!

Im from brazil and i can confirm that coffee is a big thing here, i had a coffee tree in my backyard and we didn't even harvest it, it was just there. I was kinda disapointed when all he said about the brazilian coffe was " nutty, this is common for brazilian coffee."

Wow, I've seen this series several times now, and yet I never noticed that for the slo mo shots in the beginning, they were using a stroboscopic method! I just noticed a strobing light against everything in the background and it made a ton of sense! Possibly. I may be wrong, and that could just be the flickering of the lights in slo motion.

Sorry, guys. I spent 2 hours captioning this vid and got to the outro when the page reloaded and deleted my work. I tried again, but 20 minutes in, it crashed. My computer doesn't want me to be captioning this I guess. At least I now know by heart about the flavors of different types of coffee

It was a generalised statement, that is in general terms right. Robusta was mainly grown to combat Coffee Rust, for its' resistance, it is generally a lower quality bean.

90M cups of brewed coffee - "Wow, that'll last a while". A quick google search later it seems its not even 1/4th of the daily USA coffee consumption. 2.25 billion cups each day worldwide and 400 million cups per day in the US alone. Crazy!

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
