It’s usually when the negative temps hit, that nice fluffy playful snow turns into that slushy gray dirty colored ugly snow, daytime is usually cloudy grey skies, and daylight rises after 7 and sets around 330-4.

So Syd’s mom dying young I feel explains a lot of where Syd’s drive and impatience comes from. She grew up knowing life can be taken from you at a young age, so I feel like Syd’s need to push things quickly comes from that. I’ve seen theories people suspect Syd has some sickness or feels she has a genetic predisposition to whatever ended up leading to her mom’s death, but I don’t buy those theories personally (maybe the latter in theory, but I don’t think she’s actually sick currently). Also, think you missed it, which totally fair because I missed it too upon my first watch, but if you don’t mind being told details you might have missed upon first watch… You want to rewatch the scene where Carmy gives Claire his number again. Maybe even compare it to the number he gave out earlier in the episode 😉

I feel like this is one of the episodes where some people see this show as a "comedy". Totally not a comedy btw. But the ceiling falling in on Ritchie was extremely "sitcom-y"

Not sure if anyone's brought it up yet, but the fact that carmy keeps his clothes in the oven goes to show that he really doesn't cook at home. A lot of people who work in food don't cook for themselves because it feels like doing their job after getting off.

I think it's kind of hilarious that you didn't even react to the disgusting toilet sounds while Nat was spilling her guts to the plumber. meanwhile, after so many times seeing that scene, I'm still grimacing at every sloshing sound. 😆

@@selenarodgers5667Eh. Yeah. There are a few stand out scenes and episodes, but I think it should’ve been handled differently. There was almost zero forward movement for the three main characters. That said, I choose to view S3 as a “half season,” anyway. But hey. It’s not like it is horrible television, by any means. It just falls well short of S1 and 2.
