I have tried so many different beard products over the last few yrs. And I kept seeing this advertised. I get beard itch really bad. Flaky. Its bad. The best one I tried was bad ass beard care. I finally decided to try this one. And I will start by saying your review was great. Your opinion is very educated and pretty spot on. I personally love this product. I waont claim its made my beard grow. But I will say that it has helped my beard look health. I love the product. Yes its a little pricey. But I bought my kit about 4 months ago and im halfway thru it. But great review man. Im so glad you're not one of these people trash talking the company like I've seen a couple other people do.

This was such an honest and unbiased review. There are so many reviews out there regarding this company, their growth claims and the mark up on their products. I had some of their balms+oils bought for me as a birthday present and have to agree with you that the scents + ingredients were really nice. That said, I did not have to pay the price for them and I was not buying them for their supposed Beard Growth Properties. I will be very interested in watching the follow up video to this. If the follow up video to this shows that their claims are true I will be very impressed and to be honest surprised as I have always been a disbeliever of their claims of beard growth.

So I just got a kit as a gift. I really enjoyed the products scents are great. If you go into this company not looking for growth miracles and just looking for solid beard care products you will be happy. Presentation was amazing IMO too

The products are not bad at all and as far as the customer service, they have a lot of things going on and a lot of people and I mean a lot lol, that they have to take care of so it could take a few to get a hold of someone right now there doing there best. From what I have seen on the beard growth part, it's not so much that it will make your beard "grow" it's more on the side of taking care of your self as in eating right, working out and keep drinking water ect that in it's self will give you a healthy beard and good grooming as well. This is what I have been doing and it seems to be working, all the oils and stuff do is keep your beard from drying out and the oils do feel good in the beard and smell great. They have also changed there staff around as well.

I've been searching a long time for the right products for my beard. I came out at TBS, i do agree the night elixer is better overall. Good review bro! There costumer support is just perfect. I can honestly say i'll stick with TBS. Smells good, holds good, looks good.

If for anything, just to compare quality and scents. I have a few companies I love their subtle cologne style scents and a few companies that do some awesome woodsy/ masculine scents. Really liked how calm and collected this video was, in my honest opinion the videos by Beardtube, while rightfully calling them out on the growth part and the absurdity of the Heated Brush when it first came out, all just seemed very preachy, as if he, and the videos he encouraged others to do were biased. I've been making a tonne of research into them, and finally about a week ago decided to actually give them a shot, considering the fact I've actually got a scruffy beard that's only very slowly coming in, i really want to try them myself before i hop onto any bandwagon. The oils help keep the skin healthy which then aids in healthy hair growth. As long as the beard struggle are using good natural oils. It will prob be the same effect as any other beard company that uses natural oils too. Every company claims their products helps beard growth, its not just the beard struggle that claim that so i dont understand why everybody bashes them soo much. I guess everybodys beard hair texture is different anyways so its a Personal preference when it comes to the products. But still looking forward to your experience still. Respect🙌

The issue for me is that they have two different formulas and charge you for two different bottles. The reality is that you can use one bottle for both day and night.

At the time, when I looked up on their website how to use it they said it was for growth and should be used first. I guess its just a misunderstanding, they assume I picked up their products when I started to grow my beard and that isn't true. I picked it up with an already fully grown beard. I started with them and tried everything. The wash and conditioner are quality, not the best, but quality. The oils are mostly high quality, except, the day and night oils can have different scents (Valkyrie's Oud). There is no need for 2 oils, I live on Maui and I don't need SPF on my beard, and I have a ginger beard. It's just a way to get people to buy 2 oils instead of 1. I still use their boar's hair brush, it's soft. I absolutely loathe their balm, I hate it with the utmost passion. The grittiness seems to go away when you melt it down in hand, but it hardens up and feels like waxy sand grains. Their advertising and packaging are industry leaders, got to give them that. Seems like a descent starter, but they need to quit pushing 2 oils in the same scent and their clams that their product will make unsupported beard growth.

Rice Ban oil does not create beard growth out of thin air. I looked up the first article you mentioned. The test was never done on humans and only 5 mice. It also mentioned it was prepared by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid which means this is between a solid and a liquid which can only be achieved by monitoring the temperature and pressure. Quote from the study "The extract was collected in a separator and chilled with ice by expanding the loaded solvent to ambient pressure. Extractions were performed at 32°C and 270 bar for 240 min. RB-SCE was stored at −80°C until use." So it's safe to say this is not the same as just applying beard oil that contains rice bran oil. Especially when they are keeping a constant temperature of -80 C which would probably kill you in a few seconds. Especially when this is not even pure Rice Bran oil but diluted with a mixture of other ingredients. The second study is the same, but it was done on humans (50 humans). However, the tests seem faulty, by that I mean even on week 0 they already had more hair density than the people in the placebo group so the battle was won before it even started. A lot of these studies are done by companies trying to prove their false claims and convince the public this is something legit.

It's a shame their packaging doesn't reflect their morals. This company makes fake claims and uses Beartube screenshots for their advertising even though Beardtube was giving them a negative review. So everytime he talks about Beard Struggle now he holds his thumb down so they don't do the same thing again. There is a strong beard community out there and they really messed up their reputation. It wouldn't shock me if they screenshot your videos and do the same thing to you. You should do a rundown of your top 5 beard oils with all that product you have in the background lol and what are your thoughts on beardbrand?

Dion, I agree that their marketing needs some work for sure. I am also very aware of all the things you have said. With that being said I tried my best to do an unbiased review of the actual products themselves. They haven't used anything from my video yet that I am aware of and this video is several months old at this point. Beardbrand a few months back updated their carrier oil blend and I was happy about it. I actually really like the new blend. Beardbrand is very professional and I love their brand, motto etc. Overall I like Beardbrand a lot but they are a bit expensive for the average beards men starting out. I'll be doing a review of their products pretty soon. Thanks for commenting!

8 months later what are your final thoughts? I have a spot on my chin that has hair but never grows in thick enough. Was thinking of giving them a go.

@@Godhand85 So I haven't been able to be super consistent with it. Ive done it for around 20 days in a row at the most and then miss a few days which is why I haven't done a follow up video. With that being said, it did not work and I don't believe it will. The carrier oils make the beard hairs that you do have grow to their best potential but will not create new growth. Im going to post my follow up video to this one probably sometime next week covering all of my thoughts. Thanks for the comment and watching man!
