I was so amazed with this I had to Wright Dave and tell him how much I enjoyed it. I use two beard butters, Detroit Grooming , and Beard Octane. I don't use beard balm. Every year for my Birthday , I ask for either Beard Octane products, or Luxurious Bastard products. And it doesn't matter what , its all good. Thanks for your KZbin channel.

Hi Dan! I live in Italy and here I can't find almost none of the beard products you talked about in this and in the past videos without a huge rise of the cost due to international shipping fee. I tryed Honest Amish and I literally fell in love with their beard balm!! I too have used a wax for the first time: the ginger lime Hardin from Barbudo. A medium hold and doesnt go hard or crunchy...very scented and a little sure goes a long way. After eating...rinsing stash etc...a small amt helps to re-nourish and coat the hairs that take the days worse abuse!

I've tried alot of beard companies and they all bring something different. My current favorite is Whiskey N Hardtack, specifically Icebreaker and Snake Venom. I love that tea tree fresh almost menthol touch it brings to the table. Excited to try more from them.

We should add an RIP for Burton’s Beard Oil. That was a really good company that had some distinctive and invigorating scent profiles. In general, I find Beard Octane’s oil to be too light and the scent too fleeting, and Artius Man to be too heavy, so my beard shelf tips heavily toward Luxurious Bastard oils and balms, Black Rebel’s oils and butters, Detroit Grooming’s oils and butters for relaxing evening and nighttime use, and a few products from Husky Beard.

Fables the grower is fantastic. Beard Octane downshift beard wash is really good. Scullys has excellent butter. Really softens my beard well. I love luxurious Bastard oil and balms. I have much more product from luxurious Bastard than any thing else. The scents are like no other company. Long lasting and complex.

As you said, a lot of those products are from companies that you use on a daily basis and work for you, the affiliation part doesn’t (or shouldn’t at least in my opinion) really weight all that much in your personal choices. My problem with this is that smells are soooo subjective. I end up hating most scents that are hyped by the beard influencers (probably with the exception of BTWS - we share similar preferences). I wish instead that the products were ranked based on styling results, in-beard feel, endurance, price vs. quality ratio, etc.

Awesome list. Tried Beard Octane, Live Bearded, Chesapeake, Honest Hamish and Detroit all are great products. Live Bearded products I have to say are my favorites but I like the fact that you introduced me to some new options. I see my bank account getting hit in the near future. Peace.

Awesome video Dan!!!!! I completely agree with you where you stand on making these videos. I find it EXTREMELY hard to pick and choose my "Favorites" when I have soooooo much love for all of these companies. These companies put so much love into their products, I almost dont want to choose hahahaha They're all my favorites 😁😁😁 But on the other hand, last year of 2019, these were among the first videos I watched or yours to figure out which direction to head and where to start, so I appreciate your time you've put into making all of your videos leading up to this video. I think I'ma splurge a little on different companies and products come tax season. Picked up the co-mmand co-wash and gave it its first use tonight, also got a clearanced buttah, and I dig the scent. Gotta find other butters to use since Aurora is no more, they told me to PM them and that they had some stragglers left, now they refuse to reply to me. Oh well. Thank you for this video Dan, will reference it later when I'm running low or more financially capable of the splurge/exploration.

Right now I'm using live bearded wash and I use ArtNarurals wash n conditioner and have black Rebels conditioner but its the old version I'm not crazy about it I plan on picking up bearded mack wash & conditioner as well Defined cause not thrilled with the ArtNaturals the live bearded is a good stripping wash imo

Great Video Dan!. I used about 90% of your list. Definitely Beard Octane oils, butters and LCW and Conditioner, WNH Ravager is my favorite too right noe but Gentlemans Cut is giving it a run for its money. I gotta order some WNH wash and Conditioner once my stock of those dwindles down right now i have a tom of Wash and Conditioner from Beard Octane, Chesapeaske, Baarden and Artius Man. Have you tried Black Rebel’s wash and conditioner? I haven’t yet but I was surprised it didn’t make your list. Also Beard Gents bar soap is the best I’ve ever used. Thanks for your feedback Dan.

Another great video! So glad to see Fable up on your list. They've become my go to: absolute favorite. I still enjoy Chesapeake and Seven Potions, but in terms of oil at least, I'm just stuck on Fable's scents/feel. Plus the magnificent artwork 😂
