Thanks Rajesh! Yeah twin flues is the norm here in NL, and obviously that means boiler flues can be run at longer lengths. And yeah, I try to keep the videos as true as possible and to show the real me... hence the use of lovely words 😂 Stay safe and well! Live long & prosper! 🖖🏽

I like the vailaint but they changed the warranty terms and started charging customer up front for potential non warranty job. So switched to intergas and baxi and ravenheat.

That is a shame, however the boiler warranties are a joke in the UK, 5-10 years warranties... all the manufacturers want is everyone to be boiler bashers... and I'm not a boiler basher... I only do a selected number of installs a year and even that will be coming to an end and I will only be doing service and repair! But nevertheless... appetite u watching and reaching out! Dear ranj, In the Netherlands we have the “gasketelwet”, wonder if you know about that (?). If you chance a boiler you have also have to fit a complete new flue. You aren’t allowed to mix different materials. It has to be all from one brand and all new ..And very important you have to install it like the manufacturer's instructions tells you. You didn’t even install brackets now It will sound dramatic to you, but realize that you didn’t replace the old flue now and you didn’t install brackets to secure pipes coming off. The old gaskets could fail or a pipe could come off. People could get carbon monoxide poisoning or even die. You would be the guy who didn’t do his job following the regulations I’m not a hater, if you want to know more you can text or call me and if you want me to remove this comment i will

Hey mate! Thanks for reaching out to me! The chimney/flue that I left in the wall goes directly to the outside... and is a 125mm concentric flue with the 2x80mm adaptor. The section I left in place was sound and good and not defective. And without scaffolding there would be no possible way to make the wall good on the outside if I was to replace the section in the wall. This is why I left it in place and replaced the rest of the joints with new parts. I did have to go back to the job to install the new thermostat that I forgot to bring with me and clipped the flue too... I appreciate you reaching out and bringing this to my attention!
