🎃 Love y’all’s podcast and have been listening since day 1. My random Bears QB that I liked the most (only been watching since 2010) was Matt Barkley. Really didn’t know much about football outside of its on and liked the USC teams he was on with Woods and thought he’d be fun. Fascinated for the pregame for the Titans game and wonder what y’all’s opinion is of what is going to happen with the other 31 teams. Can’t believe we made it, and I’ll be in Boston next time yall have a pod. Can’t wait.

🎃 I enjoyed watching Harbaugh at QB. He didn't have elite talent, but he played with enough skill/energy to give fans confidence, like me!

I've been following all off season (and during last season) but the manic energy for the season to start we're all feeling is on full display in this one! lol

Also, I loved that Keith Traylor and Ted Washington defense. Bryan Robinson and I think Philip Daniels at DE? Just so much BEEF on the D-line. 2001 was a fun team that had no business winning as many games as they did.

According to google search of ESPN, players on IR get paid a full seasons salary. So good for Ian Wheeler.

That’s correct. He’ll make around 900k on IR. Good for him.

I thought they did! And I don’t want to say that I would tear my ACL for $900K… but at the same time, that’s game show money 😅

235. Week to week, remember that number. To reach 4000 yards on a 17 game schedule, Caleb need only average 235 yards in the air per game. 235 y'all.

Interesting stat…in 3 years JF1 had only 6 games of 225 yards passing. 6!

Sorry Robert, but keeping a 400 yr. old TE whose career could end any second now and also keeping a do nothing Homer (plenty of talent on roster for special teams) over Brendan Bates is a crime. Bates stood out like a sore thumb and sure enough the Jets grabbed him. Otherwise, the rest of the decisions look solid.

Question: Why does Velus Jones get all the hate (starting as a rookie and escalating last year) as a third round pick while Zach Pickens keeps skating by with not word. Never healthy and completely invisible on the field. Dexter needed to improve and seemed to but when Pickens didn’t no one said a word.

Because Velus has directly contributed to losses in the eyes of most. That all it is

Not sure if Bill Murray has any experience at center. However, he does have some experience as a groundskeeper, so maybe he will help maintain the turf at Soldier Field. He is probably an upgrade over the park district. We also have some issues with Russia right now and Bill has some experience with the old Soviet Union and diffusing a possible international incident so he could maybe assist there. Maybe Soldier Field or Halas Hall is haunted, he can help there. Bill Murray is more versatile than Velus. Ok, I got that out of my system. 🐻⬇️

I think the Bears are serious about velus at RB. Where has the overrated Roshon Johnson been? What is his injury? He is slow, has no burst, and no twitch. I suspect Waldron is not crazy about him. Am I crazy?

Roshon was hyped after the draft more than any player I can recall. He still seems to be hyped by Chicago media.
