I’m learning this song. I looked through numerous other videos of people doing cover versions on acoustic guitar, and you are the only one I found who got the strumming right, playing it the same way John Lennon played it. He plays with a smooth up and down motion. The effect is a slight accent on the upbeat. Nice work on this tune. Beautiful singing too

That's right, sometimes there's a lot of reverb on the vocals and I didn't want that on the guitar.
