Dirk Diggler What do you mean? Which song?
@taraverte78774 жыл бұрын
Dirk Diggler I have always been a huge fan of Donovan Leitch (I grew up to the sound of his music, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, etc.). I have to admit that I never made the connection there... I may not have enough perspectives. Thank you very much for your comment! I will sure listen to Sunshine Superman again (and again and again 😉) with that in mind!
@taraverte78774 жыл бұрын
Dirk Diggler Thank you, Dirk! 😉 Yes, I really like Donovan! My father met him in Florida in the eighties and he asked him on which Paul McCartney’s songs he played (true story! Donovan was playing in a bar in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, can’t remember - I can ask my dad - and my parents spent like 45 minutes with him « backstage ». They were ecstatic! 😃 That’s why my dad had the opportunity (and enough time) to touch that subject with Donovan). They also talked extensively about the time Donovan was in India with the Beatles. He (Donovan) is such a gentleman! I wish I was there too (at the bar with my parents... and in India! 😉).

@@suesjoy it IS thousands. Such a shame to charge so much. Over the years, I have reached out from time to time in order to learn it. I keep hoping they will come to their senses and make it affordable to all. In 20 years, it has not happened. So I practice my own version of it. Don't let whatever it is that causes them to ask so much financially to stop you from doing your own form of meditation. My own practice, I close my eyes. I focus on my breath. Full easy breaths. I follow it in and follow it out. I breath through my nose with my mouth closed. My tongue resting on the roof of my mouth. If my brain begins to think, I bring the focus back to my breath. That is it. Start with just one minute. When the one minute becomes easy. Add a minute and keep adding minutes as they become comfortable for you. It can be a slight challenge when you first begin and that is ok. Just keep at it. Do it daily. Doesnt have to be anywhere in particular. You can be sitting in your car. xo PS.... Some ppl add mantras .... a word or a few words that they focus on. I simply rely on my breathing but you can choose a word that is sacred to you. "Love" "Joy" "God" "Om" or the name of a holy figure like that of Jesus, Mary, Muhammad, Krishna, etc etc.You can say the word in your head as you breath in and then as you breath out. You can say it out loud as you breath out. I could go on an on with 'direction'. Like deepening your breaths and so on....but I think that the simpler you keep it... the better. :) Anything more just begins to become 'fluff'.

The Beatles were the "First" Group linked to Meditation and Spirituality and now so many Folks do Yoga now. From Russell Simmons, Smokey Robinson & Sting. I think for them going there was a very smart move. The Marahishi was the first person who treated them like "Regular People" and that was saying alot considering that they had too many people around then "Yessing!" them. It was the closest thing to normalcy that they had after reaching the big time.

For the 18 years for which there is no account of the life of Jesus, ie from the age of 12 to 30. There is a record of him having lived in Kashmir. Makes sense when you think about how controversial his teaching was in Palistine. I'm suggesting that Jesus brought to Palistine the knowledge of how to access transcendental consciousness.
@suesjoy5 жыл бұрын
Yes, that’s true. And some channelers have said that he didn’t die on the cross- He had learned how to slow his heart and breathing down to a near death level. So - he faked his death! He married Mary Magdalene and lived in France. He had five children, but I believe one died very young.

If someone cannot afford it, adjustments an be made. In ancient times, this knowledge was so precious it was given only to kings, and then only if they showed their deep appreciation for it by selling some of their land so that they could support the ashrams where the knowledge was preserved. Today in the west, people value the material world and do not understand or appreciate intangibles like this subtle technique. So they wait until they learn its value so they will appreciate it once the get it. It's a non-profit organization. The teachers have to eat and the knowledge has to be spread all over the world. If the world knew its ultimate value, they would break down the doors of the TM centers.

You should find a certified teacher of Transcendental Meditation. Other techniques are based on concentration oder contenplation and keep you on the level of the conscius mind, thereby keep you away from transcending. This is why often successful meditation is thought to be very difficult. But it is very easy if you learn it from a qualified teacher of TM. You find them in any part of the world if not, try to contact me and I will find one.
