Thanks for the reaction. Yeah I like them too. Each member was very talented in their own style and uniqueness. Thats what stands out so much. Georges catchy guitar riffs always added so much, Ringo with the left handed drumming. I hope you can get more uploaded. The more you hear the more you'll appreciate them and what they did for music. I think I told you before that you should react to Paul's Carpool Karaoke. You know he's pretty old now, he takes you on a tour of Liverpool. It's very special.

Another great upbeat timeless song by them. Yes, drummer Ringo is still around and doing quite well reported wealth 80 million 😀. I notice many songs that others, react to are not blocked well so far on the Ed Sullivan Show. Actually the Beatles made their first appearance on that show 2-9-64. 60 years soon. Would have loved c them in concert at Shea Stadium in 65. Good day Miss T.

The song is not about a girl by the way. It's about drugs. In fact it may be the first Beatles' song with drugs references.

@@kingstumble The composers. "Lennon described "Day Tripper" as a "drug song" in 1970, and in a 2004 interview McCartney said it was "about acid" (LSD). The song title is a play on words referring to both a tourist on a day-trip and a "trip" in the sense of a psychedelic experience. Lennon recalled: "Day trippers are people who go on a day trip, right? Usually on a ferryboat or something. But [the song] was kind of ... 'you're just a weekend hippie.' Get it?". In Many Years from Now, McCartney says that "Day Tripper" was about sex and drugs; he describes it as "a tongue-in-cheek song about someone who was ... committed only in part to the idea. Whereas we saw ourselves as full-time trippers ..."
