In April 1969, their single "Get Back" was credited to "The Beatles with Billy Preston", the only time an artist was credited as a co-performer with The Beatles after the band started recording as independent artists.[a] The credit was bestowed by the Beatles to reflect the extent of Preston's presence on the track; his electric piano is prominent throughout and he plays an extended solo. Preston also worked, in a more limited role, on the 1969 Abbey Road album, contributing organ to the tracks "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "Something".

I have always gotten the feeling that John and Paul were in a time machine back to the early days when it was just the two of them working together to crank out all those songs. It shows in their body language, the way they look at each other. Clearly they had a special connection that only the two of them understood. I love the chemistry between them during this performance. Not to dismiss George and Ringo because not for the four of them together The Beatles would not be the same band that we all love. 💕
