I wore it out! Those Beatles harmonies are just magic and life enriching and there's a deep spiritual quality to them.

With the November 23 1964 single release of I Feel Fine, the worldwide wave of Beatlemania hit its crest, The next time the Beatles released a new A side single was mid- April 1965. The atmospherics that propelled I Feel Fine to it's emotional high ground are virtually nonexistent.. Replaced by the Bluesy mid tempo classic Ticket To Ride. As more bands surfaced, the musical landscape was shifting. The "Mania" continued, but the Beatles began withdrawing from it. I Feel Fine is a great song and one of their best 'sounding' records. You just like me when I got hooked on the beatles I would play the song 3 to 4 times till I learned all the words. I don't think they ever said this for real but it was very true... WE ARE GOING TO CHANGE THE FACE OF POP MUSIC FOREVER and damn they sure did

That feedback at the beginning was originally an accident when John put his guitar too close to an amplifier. He liked it and asked George Martin (Beatles producer) to leave it in the recording. This led to other experimentation with electronic sounds and distortions in later songs. Another great reaction 😊

In 1959, Ray had a huge hit with his song, what d I say, driven by milt turners unorthodox Tom Tom drum pattern. The song was the go to for the young Beatles during their 5 grueling stints over 3 years in hamburg Germany.

Yeah, I hear it. "What'd I Say" IS the rhythmic template for "I Feel Fine." I was just thinking that those long hours in Hamburg helped them learn to craft those amazing harmonies, too, on the fly. The Beatles were worked brutally hard and had to come up with ways of pulling customers away from surrounding sex establishments. Talk about competition. No wonder they got so good.

This song was released in 1964. The Beatles broke up in 1970. John Lennon died in 1980 and George Harrison died in 2001. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr still alive and playing.

@@nelosreaction1975 John Lennon did not die normally, he was murdered by Mark David Chapman in New York in December 1980. One of those moments, the world stand still for some seconds. Chapman not only killed John Lennon here, but also the hope of countless fans for a reunion of the Beatles. In that sense, it was a kind of mass murder. The circumstances and the reactions to this murder can of course be seen in many clips on youtube.

You should do a reaction to You're Going To Lose That Girl by The Beatles. It's got great harmonies and it's basically a song about a guy warning another guy that's treating his woman poorly that if you don't treat your woman right that he's going to lose her because the singer, which in this case is John Lennon, is going to treat her right and she'll end up with him. The song is from the Beatles movie help. Another great song from that movie is the night before sung by paul. It's about two people having a very romantic evening the night before and Paul is asking her why she's changed her mind and not treating him like she did the night before.
