@@asgelwkyi I don't disagree, but these guys are talented enough that I think that if they decided add a couple of extra beats to a drum solo, or a bend a few notes on the guitar here and there, that it would generally come out as an improvement over the original. I mean there cover sounds so much exactly like the original, you have to wonder, why not just listen to the original recording?

This series of cover vids began as a transcription, performance, and production exercise at my new studio space in Chicago, and to me, they are kinda like sound checks. I haven't done this much recording engineering and mixing before, so it's good practice. It's like a test to see if I can recreate favorite songs from my childhood. Lol. I think the peak of it is my Derek And The Dominos - I Looked Away (cover) video. The more recent John Hiatt - Have A Little Faith In Me (cover) video is more of an original acoustic trio arrangement of the song.
