This is a beautiful box. I think the international picture sleeves and labels was a fantastic and fun idea too. It’s fun just to pull it out and look at the different pictures and artwork. If you see one for a decent price I’d say pick it up. It’s definitely worth it. When I came up with the What’s In the Box series idea all I could think of was The Wheel of Fish and his voice asking that question. So I knew I had to incorporate that. I forgot about Brad Pitt yelling that in Seven until after I got rolling with it. So naturally I had to combine the two. Thanks for watching and commenting. I always appreciate your support.

I have this boxset.I like having the singles all in one place.I also have the Christmas boxset singles.Stevie Nick's has a new c.d. boxset.Back to the Beatles I think the U.S. Help single has my favorite picture sleeve.I was disappointed it wasn't included.Thank you.

It’s a beautiful box for sure. The international picture sleeves was a great idea. I’m sure there’s several good ones that got left out though. I saw Stevie Nicks had a new set out. That would be a nice one too.

This has been on my wishlist since it came out. With the high prices, it might take a while. In fact, any of those boxes you mentioned will do, but these others are really rare.

It is a beautiful box. I really am a fan of all the different picture sleeves and labels. The older singles boxes would be great also. One day I might have to add those too.

Isn't The Long and Winding Road/For You Blue included in this box?

No it is not. I believe this was all the UK singles only. Any of the US ones would not be included unless it matched one from the UK.

@Noise11channel it was strictly a UK singles box. They used cover and labels art from singles from around the world though. I believe Australia was represented on one.

Just picked up a copy on eBay, still sealed. Will it lose half its value if I open it?

It really shouldn’t. Even open boxes are selling for $200 or more.

The outer box design is...underwhelming, to say the least. Exact same art front and back (vs. the mono CD box set that had a half apple at the back), no spine text, not even the Apple logo on the drawer side (like on the US Albums box). It would have looked nicer if they made it like a 45 carrying box complete with handle and brass hinges.

@BeatleDustino - also, have you listened to the Free As a Bird/Real Love disc? Are they the 1995 versions or the 2015 remixes?

Yeah. The outer box is very underwhelming. But the picture sleeves and labels were brilliant. That is a good idea to make it like a 45 carrying box.

I just went and re-listened to FAAB and RL. They are the 95 and 96 mixes. The book confirmed that also as there was no mention of the 2015 mixes. The box was all taken from the original masters, so pretty sure they wouldn’t use the new mixes on those ones.

@@BeatleDustino yeah, that makes sense. it would at least avoid double-dipping if they eventually decide to release the 2015 mixes (or another remix) on 7" or CD.

I got a feeling we’ll never see that 2015 mix on anything other then the 1+ Blu-ray. Especially considering there’s strong rumor of them getting a 2023 remix with the Peter Jackson software.
