The Beatles were so tight. In every single live video there is of them, they play perfect. Every time. Its good you started with some of there early songs. If you keep going you'll see them evolve into even greater things. Truly the greatest band ever. You'll see.

Fun Fact: It was Little Richard who taught the Beatles how to say "Woooo!" . They became friends when they were playing the same club in Hamburg, Germany, in 1962. You would probably enjoy seeing Little Richard videos from the 1950's, because he is one of the original rock and rollers who started the whole thing, and one of the major inspirations for the Beatles. Try "Long Tall Sally".

Keep going! You'll be amazed at how the Beatles' songs evolve over time. So much magic came together for them, and we all got the benefit!

When recording their first album, which they did all in one day, they saved this number for last. John's voice can only stand this register for a limited time, and to belt it out, he shreds his voice a bit, not conducive to continued recordings. At the end of the night they recorded it, and they usually saved this for their last number of their 15=30 minute set they usually performed during the early days after hitting it big.

This Ed Sullivan appearance (they performed several songs and were on several more times later) is historic. Their first time performing in America. (Boomers talk about it like “where were you when…”) While they were slowly taking over the world, this catapulted them in full blown Beatlemania. Still the second most watched TV event in history! This song and performance never get old! Ahhh, wish I had been alive. Glad you liked it 💙

This was the last track on the first album… sang when John Lennon had a very broken voice! The first album called please please me. It’s important to listen to the British version of the albums as that was the original intention… The American versions were messed around with by record company executives!

Listen to those girls scream! They would swoon over the Beatles and faint and have to be carried out and be checked by medics. Watch the video of when they had their first trip to America and were getting off the plane. Girls were dropping left and right. Hilarious!

Here was a major TV studio and their audio equipment was as top-of-the-line as possible - but it still SUCKED because all audio reprodoction equipment was horrible leading into the mid '70s. Mixboards were usually 2 channels ("people only have 2 ears - why should I have 4 or 8 or 12 or 32 inputs on my recorder?") and the choice was often "blend 1 and 2, favoring one or the other, or set everything into the middle.

As for the women... as you read more bio's about rockers from the '60s, '70s and '80s, "the girls" were a HUGE factor - so big that many still can't talk about that unashamedly. But boys all over the Western World saw girls going ga-ga, and said, "I gotta learn guitar. Or drums..."
