Annie and Luke are adorable and I too could watch them all day. Yoke is her usually "hall monitor" character. She has such a powerful presence packed in that small body. When Lena wanted Lukes attention and Annie came around, Lena exhibited the perfect example of what pinned ears look like. Then, of course, when they were communicating over Luke's back, they gave us cuteness overload, lol! What amazing horse behaviors exhibited in this video 😃

We could watch it all day too. They are fascinating-even when they are doing nothing! I think Gracie feels safe and secure with Lena -maybe Lena is more maternal to her. I’m glad she feels so comfortable with her too. I missed the hay sharing experiment, I’ll have to look for it-can’t wait-I’m sure it is enlightening.

Luke and Annie are hilarious, so much fun! Interestingly, it seems like Annie stands her ground a bit with Joka, not moving when Joka tells her to. Joka may have met her match with that lil one. lol When Lena flattened her ears over Luke's back at Annie 🤣 You have a beautiful herd of the happiest, healthiest horses. We haven't seen David in a long while, hope all is well with him.

I was thinking today that its real fortunate for Gracie you have such a calm and steady horse as Lena in your herd. Sometimes it doesn't work like opposites attract, but in this case I think her manner really helps Gracie relax and not worry so much. I feel happy for her that she has found such a herd mate. Also, watching Annie and Luke interact is a real treat. They are very good friends. I wonder how much taller Annie will grow - I remember her from earlier videos and in comparison to now she was so tiny!

So much to see in this video. Annie wins the Miss Personality award It is interesting to see her play with Luke similar to how the boys play with each other. That was very weird and rather gross how she got fixated on Mr. Wilde's poop. Miss Floof, as usual, demonstrated her subtle communication skills. She is so fascinating to watch and learn from. I'm so happy for Gracie that she has a friend in Lena to co-groom and socialize with. It's nice to see her so calm.

I really liked this video so fun to watch, have laughs with Joka Luke and Annie, the 3 amigos 😂 one of my favorite clips so far. The whole dynamics of the herd love to watch them, no wonder they stop you in your tracks. Yes, you got distracted from your work but how interesting that was. Thank you for sharing 👍 I too thought Luke was limping. Glad he isn't. This bond between Annie and Luke seems rather recent. Joka kicks low like a cow.. But we human see no warning. She is so funny. This mud mixed with poo is going to give you a lot of work. I found with dogs that gestures more than words or with words is a good way to communicate as they can read our body language too.

Actually, the sand drains really well in the end, by the next day the arena was dry other than the very back end. So much better than dirt.

What a beautiful day with these guys❤️ I can see Anne and Luke's relationship has grown alot more solid, it's really funny because she kind of plays with Luke like the way he does when he's just in there with the boys🤔 ( I definitely feel like Annie's more the tomboy of the group compared to the other females lol) she wants to play with Luke the way the others play and wants to roll where everybody else rolls and doesn't mind getting into the dirty stuff, and it also kind of looks like they're doing a lot dancing at times. I don't quite know what dancing signifies in horse communication, I don't know if it's just something they do for fun or if it a statement of some sort of a relationship status 🤔...I dono I could be thinking to far into it lol but definitely thought provoking interactions today ❤️

Snow does make poop patrol a bit more challenging. lol I've noticed all herd animals tend to go smell each others 'leavings'. From my own experiences, it is their way of telling if a member is healthy.

Slipping and breaking legs? How often do you hear that happening? I've never heard of it in ally time and never experienced it. So, I guess the simple answer is no, I don't even consider it at all. Yes I've thought about surveillance cameras.
