@@bongodongo9229 ahhh, yeah, but I'm not talking about Netflix as an animation studio only. You surely understand is an enormously contribution to the consumers and the art of anime/manga/manwha that a platform like Netflix with more "variety" and being first in his class, offers legendary animations as arcane cyberpunk or even more, manwha adaptations. I mean, crunchyroll offering tower of God is a thing to celebrate, but their focus is anime. So it benefits the industry and us a lot.

Anime is not just some kind of Japanese cartoon, it's something so beautiful, warm, pleasant that the eye rejoices when you see something like that. I hope the anime will continue to develop in the future. So many anime worlds... Everyone has their own atmosphere, but the world, the whole world called Earth, has such a wonderful atmosphere... And in the anime it looks like this... Exciting. Thank you, anime, that you exist.

Made mostly by Japanese animation. The outlier I noted was Arcane, made by a French Studio with a budget of roughly 60 to 80 Million Euro, several times more than what spectacular anime are allotted. This is fine, but Japanese anime is still an art form of its own, and one at the very top as far as I’m concerned.

crazy how many people take animation for granted. it’s been around since the late 90s, it’s been engraved in all corners of culture. But nobody really stops to realize that animation is just art, but in motion. They don’t stop to think about every frame manually drawn by hand. the production team, and character and environmental reference artist etc. The list goes on. There’s so much depth to animation, and so many people just say oh it’s just animation, or oh it’s just anime, What’s the big deal? Why do you take it so seriously? Because like anyone who appreciates art or entertainment in any form of media. It gives us a break from reality to immerse ourselves in a different world entirely.

one of the things i enjoy most about Japanese animation, what sets it apart from the world (or at least the USA) is that it takes the time to show us the quiet moments, the reflective, meditative, "take a breath" moments, where our eyes and minds can just linger and take in all the beauty. too often with any film that is fantastical we're moving so fast between attempts at comedy (successful or not) or explosive, fireworks type battle sequences, that the hard work of the artists isn't as easy to appreciate.

@Gundgok sadly most of the ppl cant see the beauty of animation, even tho most of them got better story than the crap they show as movies or series. Animation is a combination of 4 types of art; music, acting, story writing and visual arts. So this makes it so special but no instead they watch shows like 'Squid Game" which the ending is so obvious from the start and actually gives no emotion to me.

It's a bold choice to be calling all of these shows anime. There's quite a few folks out there who believe in a very strict definition of anime and who have a lot of hate for those who 'disrespect' the term. I, for one, am glad to see so much support and agreement towards using the term to define a medium, rather than a genre. Anime, like any form of art, should not be subjected to strict definitions and hard lines. Why focus on defining it when you can direct your attention to enjoying these pieces of media, whether you consider them anime or not

It has always amazed me how anime shows the beauty of nature perfectly. Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch the northern lights. And in this video, the northern lights are no less beautiful than in reality.

Algumas cenas de anime são especialmente bem animadas, como chuvas, pôr do sol, céu estrelado à noite, e mano isso compõe um cenário tão incrível. ❤

I like how focused this anime seems to be on the beauty of the environments, for others it isn’t focused on enough or given much thought. Genuinely excited for this to come out:)
