Man, child me was something else entirely. I watched this movie and defended it religiously because bees were the focus and my favorite show at the time was Mighty B!. I was even the bee in the class play that year and I still remember being bullied relentlessly because of the goofy costume with wings on the head 💀

I was 13 when Bee Movie came out, and I was actually a pretty big fan. I really enjoyed it for some reason. I loved the video game (it was actually pretty good on PS2, with an open-world and many different mechanics and minigames) and I collected the little McDonald's plush dolls. Watching it today, I can definitely see all the flaws and how weird it is, but I still enjoy it. There's just something about this movie.

I once had an elaborate dream when I was younger thinking there was a Bee Movie 2. By far the biggest thing this movie is forgetting is that honeybees aren't the only pollinators, there are many other animals that pollinate like butterflies, wasps, spiders, hummingbirds, native bees, and the many other small things that unintentionally spread pollen

On the DVD, they had a game quiz to see which bee job you would get. I recall my family and I struggling for quite a long time trying to get pollen jock but never did. Is pollen jock even an option?
