THE BEEKEEPER HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT WANTS TO BE | Review

Excusing the shoddy script and hilarious lack of effort given to the set up, the biggest issue with The Beekeeper is tone. At times it wants to embrace the hyper stylised violent fun of John Wick with eccentric opponents and over the top action, but most of the time it also gives the impression that it's playing it straight as a serious revenge thriller. Despite the occasional good flash of action, the tone is about as consistent as Jason Statham's accent.
