I learned exactly in the way you explained but without the video, from jumping without the ball to chaining stalls. I started 5 days ago and by applying this meccanic more and more often in my gameplay I got from Platinum 1 to Diamond 1 (hit it like 1 hour ago and my heart's still pounding)

You have to touch the ball with the bottom of your car to refill your jump, and then flip your car around so you hit it with the top.

Yeah because you press jump and half air roll at the same time, but first should press jump and then take milliseconds time and press half air roll. That requires a lot of practice.

I’m watched the first 2-3 chapters of this video and was like “I can do this”. I came back after 1 minutes with a record of 1 stall. After the whole video I tried again and got a massive 2 stalls. After 4 mins of grinding and only getting 1’s and 2’s I got 5 in a row down how by just continuing the sequence of buttons I was pressing. Moral of the story, idk

If you are using the joystick to turn back then maybe do it when you are farther away or if you are using the half air roll try waiting a bit then flipping back because the roof of your car might be hitting the ball

It works! My problem is, i am on touch and sometimes i accedently start air rolling, because i am letting go of the joy stick to make a stall, and in the moment when i touch the joistick again, i am startkng air rolling. Can i turn this off in the settings?

L2/LT on controller & half air roll tap (hidden air roll button) on touch should be identical. I've tested them. They're the same speed for me. L1/LB on the other hand seems to be slightly slower than the half air roll button

I find this impossible to do on touchpad. MB my buttons are set up right but I have them lined up on the bottom of the right side of the screen all neatly next to each other. Is there a better set up for touch? Either way I plan on buying a controller for next season but still curious.

hmm might be an issue with your controller and/or device. I'm only on iphone n i have no issues with controls.. n can easily change them using IOS. but.. im assuming you're on android?
