@marcosgarcia80184 жыл бұрын
i just looked this up and apparently it's a speculated phenomenon called stone tape which speculates that things like rocks etc record sound and can play them back under certain conditions which is what may be responsible for EVP. also the videos play back thing he talked about is real and has to do with overlapping recordings like reusing old security tapes as new ones. however it takes time for things like that to develop. like we're talking many recordings over the first one. i forgot the exact circumstances. But in terms of reality, this guy was probably stressed and zoned out and then completely forgot that he did it. IN terms of the paranormal it was probably a doppleganger.

As much as I like these kind of stories, this one can have a much more rational explanation to it, he does not have a phantom double. As he explained himself when he arrived it was very busy in the hospital. People with lifethreatening injuries and lifechanging injuries started rolling in. He did not have the time to adjust his brain to the amount of stress and emotional distress of seeing these kind of images let alone working with them. Stress and especially emotional distress can trigger forgetfulness or memory loss in humans. I theorise that he had simply forgotten that he had already done the medication round for that day because of the stressful circumstances he had been in earlier. The nurse that had instructed him to do the medicine round hours before was merely a recurring memory, much like deja vu that we all experience from time to time.

Almost 20 years ago I had a girl friend living 600km from my place. I was very much in love and drove the distance every week to see here. One friday night I found myself in my car in front of her house in totally surprise. The last thing I remembered was sitting in my living room in front of the tele thinking about how stressful the trip would be and why Scotty can’t just beam me to my love. Up to this very day I have absolutely no memory what happenend then. The only explanation I can give is that I was in a state of disorientation. I had a very stressful period in my life back then. I was working for law enforcement and was confronted with cases of child abuse I could hardly bear and that really got at my nerves. I think that routine and stress can lead to such things and there is nothing supernatural about it. Humans easy forget that we do not live in reality but in the model of the reality our brain creates for us using a lot of filters so we are able to survive.

There's a similar story of a time slip in Liverpool! Many people have found themselves in what seems to be the early 1900's or in some cases the latter half of the Victorian era! There was also a time slip in the late 80's or early 90's which involved a couple who were driving towards a village and as they came around a roundabout, they saw a pub restaurant in the quaint village which they parked outside. The wife exited the car to look for someone to ask directions. Inside she could hear the telltale sound of cutlery and the sound clinking glasses with the unmistakable sound of banter and conversation from within. The couple, decided to check their map, then drive around again. A mere few minutes later, the quaint village was not so quaint and the pub/restaurant was now dilapidated and boarded up. A tattered and weathered plaque hung on the wall of the restaurant that said "Best kept village, 1977" I heard this story back in the early 90's. I can't remember the town or village but this is as close to what happened as I can remember!!!

Before the possible explanations came up I already thought that this is simply a case of the male nurse carrying out his AMU duties quickly whilst he got a brief moment of time from his work in the A and E and that he simply forgot that he did the amu medicine run. I think most of us can testify that we've all had these sorts of days where work is so manic and you are working so hard that your short term memory becomes useless and you are stressed and running on adrenaline. Also the problem with routine work, like the medicine run, is that its so similar to previous times that you've carried out the work that it becomes unmemorable, hence the need to record it and he probably didn't do that because he was stressed and in a rush to get back to his important work at A and E.
@worldcure7883Ай бұрын
Maybe the weak minded experience this but it is definitely not a normal thing to lose short term memory because of your mildly taxing job. It's frightening that a so called health care specialist would think this is normal maybe find a different line of work if you experience adrenaline from giving people medicine and cleaning bed pans lol.

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ nothing happened after I ran out. I came back that night and asked her how she did it but she was confused so I didn’t press the questions. She could be very mean. It wasn’t long after that she was committed to a psychiatric hospital for a long time, after she came home she would not leave her bedroom for anything other than to use the toilet, she didn’t shower and I had to bring her food. After a few years like that necrotic infection got to her because of her poor hygiene and she was asking me to do strange things so I called 911 and they took her again. She got much better after I grew up and joined the Marines, but we never had a close relationship after that and she died a few months ago. I think about the time I saw her in two places at once and how the other one seemed and I can’t help but wonder if it was a part of her tortured personality splitting away and manifesting itself.

It's not uncommon, in my experience, to see 2 different cameras at opposite ends of a hallway. My guess as to the reason for that would be in case one fails or someone tampers with one of them. I'd be willing to bet that, if you found the security blueprints for that hospital, you'd see at least one pair of overlapping cameras in the path that guy walked through

This is strange and very intriguing. I'd like to hear more of cases like this. The music at the end is kinda scary and disturbing but good at the same time ..Thanks for all the awesome clips Bedtime Stories I 💗 them.

Sleep deprivation and potential shock from the victims from the accident plus any other stress from daily life could have lead to his confusion and failure to complete the paperwork. Nurses and doctors are under immense stress and accidents and mistakes do happen. Not to blame this man, but this event is likely an outcome of a mistake or mental lapse on his behalf

Your animation and narration (serious but not purposely overtly creep tone) make this the top tier in strange and mysterious story telling styled in a true crime approach. Bottom line, I admire your work, and its something to be admired, like any other Art.

GREAT story! I'm a retired RN, and would also be horrified if it appeared I had attended to my duties without documenting them, or worse yet, unknowingly duplicate treatments for patients in my care. Although retired, I still dream about work. Some of them are very unsettling. I wish Ryan well, and that he has a long and fulfilling term of work.

I will start by saying that I love your channel it is my favourite on KZbin and I check here daily for updates. One of the things I really admire is the attention to detail, the fact checking and measured approach you take with your stories. I find them fascinating and occasionally unsettling in equal measure. Then you publish subscriber stories and everything that I love about your channel goes away. It is clear to anyone with a critical eye and a basic understanding of the working on a hospital ward that these entries are entirely fictional. I assume that on some level you must know this too so the fact you go ahead and publish it anyway makes me feel like you are 'selling out'. I doubt I am the only subscriber who feels this way. Aside from that I have a number of problems with this story. "Ryan's first *customer* of the day was an older lady" Since when did the NHS refer to patients as customers? "... His position was transferable between different *departments*" The correct term is wards. Not departments. The fact that the storyteller is using the vernacular of someone working in Retail leads me to suspect that this person has never actually worked on a hospital ward. 1) While I understand that this was a subscriber story, but if the person recounting the story cannot even provide the correct vernacular to describe those he is caring for I am seriously doubting the validity of this story. 2) Auxiliary Nurses or Nursing Assistants are prohibited from administering medication to patients. In fact the only nurses who are permitted to administer medication are Registered Nurses and these medications are always strictly administered at the same time(s) every day. 3) The reason for this is twofold. Firstly you need to be medically trained in the administration of medicine to ensure you are giving the correct dose to a patient, if for example a diabetic patient is given an overdose of insulin it could very likely kill them or at least place them in a coma. The reason medicines are administered at the same time each day is to avoid the time between medications being too long (to refer back to my example of the diabetic, if they had to wait too long between insulin shots this could have negative repercussions) or too short (which could lead to the patient overdosing). 4) Customer medicines are securely locked away. An Auxiliary Nurse would not be given a copy of the keys to the medicine cabinet - and they certainly would not be given a copy of the keys to a medicine cabinet on ward that they were not permanently assigned. So if he didn't have the keys who did he get them from? And why didn't the Nurse who gave him the keys to begin his rounds remind him that he had already completed his rounds an hour earlier (especially when it was the nurses who verified the patients claims that he has already done his rounds)? 5) How convenient that the only evidence to corroborate that he was working in A&E was lost because that was the only department which was undergoing maintenance. This also makes it seem that with a simple call to security you can waltz into their office and start trawling through CCTV footage of yourself - unless you are a Police Officer in a Hollywood film it simply doesn't work like that. Additionally it is extremely unlikely that he would have been excused in the middle of a hospital shift to leave the ward for an extended period of time without good reason - watching yourself working in CCTV is not a good enough reason to abandon your post. 6) It doesn't make sense how after his doppelganger could walked down the hall away from the camera to administer the medications, thereby hiding his face, his face was not visible on when he walked back, unless he walked backwards or moonwalked from whence he came.

You shouldn’t accept food or drink from the fey, so did a fairy disguise themselves as a nurse to make the whole ward owe them?

This is me every day... the amount of times I’ve hollered at my kids to put their shoes on, only to find them waiting by the back door ready to go school, and the number of times I’ve walked into a room looking for something I’m already holding in my hands. Tiredness does strange things to your mind. But hey, the clocks go back an hour this Sunday. So that means you get an extra hour in ...no hang on, you get nothing. You get absolutely nothing...you’re a parent. The extra hour does not apply.
