Perhaps one day he will show his head! Doughnuts Dougiee is investigating it with me. He said that he'll crack it. But he lost his dog so now he's Dougless. Jumpy_Bunny The problem with this channel is that there are like a dozen legit stories but way more entirely fictional stories and idk which are legit so I have to watch to find out then I get mad when it's fake. But the uploader treats them all the same which is incredibly annoying, each video should start with a reality rating from 100% real down to undeniably fake. The middle rating would still be intriguing (up for debate) but I don't wanna watch any videos where one person makes claims and we're supposed to believe them

I've watched so many horror films and videos and read so many supernatural tales over the years from M.R. James to H.P. Lovecraft to Stephen King that I thought I was finally immune to 'The Fear', but this creepy little offering really sent a delicious shiver of terror down my spine. Your video creeped me out as much as 'The Signalman', or 'Whistle, and I'll come to You, My Lad' (both part of the BBC's classic series 'A Ghost Story for Christmas', as some of your more mature subscribers will remember.) Well done to all of you - I especially loved the moment where Terry Birch's eyes opened as he lay in bed. @@chatteyj The only cave I've been in is the Mark Twain cave in Hannibal, Missouri. About 100 miles north of St Louis along the Mississippi. The most distinguishing thing I remember from the several times I've been there is just how god damn dark it is. Absolutely no light. There was a simple rope separating a dark corridor that leads down into the pitch black depths of the cave and the tour area dimly lit. Several people have died in that cave, including children, who decided to slip away from tours and go exploring on their own. I'd rather die any other way, I couldn't imagine how horrific it would be to get lost and rot away in total darkness. I think they did find some bones before at the bottom of a steep fall. They stumbled through the dark and right to their death, likely breaking their legs and slowly died at the bottom of a hole. Fuck. That. Pretty cool tour tho

I recently watched a story on snarled about a monster called a “Tokoloshe” and I IMMEDIATELY thought of this story. The monster lines up perfectly with what the man experienced. They shapeshifter to slide under doors, and then bite the victims. Especially in the legs. I was astounded.

I've had similar experiences, (plural,) and this sounded true. For an area to have a variety of manifestations is remarkable. I described an unseen entity, soon thereafter seen, as making sounds like a broom brushing carpet as it moved up the hall towards our bedroom door. The door wasn't locked and it opened it up easily enough... I finally wrote a memoir so I wouldn't keep freaking myself out by retelling it all. Good retelling here, this video spooked me, gave me goose bumps and made my adrenaline run.

I've been a taxi driver in nearby Bristol for a few years now and have never had a problem when I get late night work out in the rural areas around the southwest, happily take a break or piss in the pitch black middle of nowhere, that kind of thing. But I have stopped near the Mendips on occasion and the sense of unease and that something is watching from the dark is really fucking strong there.

I lived and worked in Bridgwater and later Burnham for 12 years and often walked in the Mendips and around the Gorge and over the tops to Charterhouse Rakes. There is a distinct air of vague menace about the place but I always found the nearby Chilterns more frightening in the dark. Never heard any of this though, but it doesn't surprise me!

Thanks for yet another amazing video.

If i heard correctly, Terry was in the Military? Special Forces? Idr, But if I did hear Correctly. Than after not wanting to get up after hearing what he thought was an animal like a fox or something in those lines. But, after hearing it climbing the steps, I would of thought he then would of gotten up & started to defend himself from what's coming. Even if he got after the knock at the door i thought he would of gotten up. But Unknown Fear is Different and scared him frozen.
