splendid stuff and some great sunrise views. There's something cathartic about riding in the rain or late/early, providing you have the gear and it's not extremely busy or an extreme weather event, riding through hurricane Katrina with a chilled, glazed eye look and a mild smirk is, quite frankly for the birds. So actually let's revise that slightly and say that it CAN be cathartic in very rare circumstances. 😁

Hi John, I cannot tell you how much we loved it, I've travelled to many countries and the people I met in Ireland were the most friendly, helpful and happy anywhere in the world. We will definitely be back, and for longer next time, it really made me question my life choices living in Britain (nothing great about it 😂) when such beauty is only a few miles away. I may be Welsh, but as we have no chance Ireland is my hope for the rugby World Cup ❤️🇮🇪

Sad that's finished really. Ireland is definitely bucket list. There's enough difference and enough the same. Good sentiment at the end😊 Compliment sandwich, great bike. Coulda rained more. Lovely sunrise.

Great stuff m8. Thanks for the ride along. Got the back rest pad fitted to the top box. Super glue on the 3m tape and then clamp it down. Not made for it but it looks ok and it'll do the job . Happy days

Sorry I’m very late to this. It’s tough going home and going straight back to work 😬 Oooo I don’t know, I hate tolls, fill me with such anxiety with all the gear on 😂 Ireland is a lovely country, it definitely needs as much time off as possible to be able to see even half of it 🤘 No matter where or how many times you’ve seen it, a sunrise is always special ☺️ Lovely little sign off video mate, I’ve really enjoyed watching this series of videos, hope you’re both well 🤘

l have got to say l am very impressed with that bike of yours, never seems overly stress two up with luggage for a 500cc

It does the job, and is comfortable doing it, if you want to cruise any higher than 75mph it does feel like you're asking too much of the little engine, but the Mrs won't let me go faster than that anyway 😂 The only think that it lacks in is confidence overtaking. You have to plan ahead and overtake with a decent run up rather than trying jump from gap to gap. But low speed filtering in towns is a doddle. All in all its an awesome bike, and surprised the hell out of me doing all that distance fully loaded, thanks for sharing the trip with us mark 👍

Sounds like a great trip, on a great bike. As you say, you could probably spend a month and still not cover everything over there. Ferries look a dodlle too, perfect. Great vids bud

Wonderful. I was speaking on the phone this evening to a friend who spent a lot of time in the North when younger. He and I are going to talk routes.... for 2024! Age? I'm a little older than you and have nothing but plans for future tours... with Norway in there at some point.

Neil, norway on a bike would be a dream, we went there in the summer on a cruise and I was so jealous seeing all the bikes there kitted out and on tour, the scenery is amazing and the laws for camping anywhere are brilliant 👍

@neilmackinnon3371 you can camp anywhere by law, as long as you are 150 mtrs from someone's front door you can legally camp on their land for 48 hrs, and if you want to stay longer you just have to move 5 mtrs 🤣🤣

@@wsmv amazing. A mate of mine did pretty much that back in the 1960's on a then brand new AJS CSR 650, I had no idea you could still do that. There are lots of small free camping areas with toilets / shower blocks. You can stay 2 days in a tent and 24 hours in a camper. There is a web site with all the locations... the site is in Norwegian, but a map is a map, so....
