Hi! This is a great list. The best book I’ve found is The Modern Witchcraft Guide by Skye Alexander. I find her writing very easy to read. I have bought a copy of the wheel of the year by Judy Ann Nook. But I use it in conjunction with the luner & seasonal diary for the Southern Hemisphere so my information is correct.

I just noticed that I only have one Witch book and it's only about Intuition development. I've never owned a different type of witch book. I do have books on Tarot, numerology, and cartomancy. But I don't have anything else.

do you have any recommendations for the wheel of the year books for the equator? Am in Thailand, and the booksellers here just give me a funny look...

Hi Lovely, I have yet to be able to find one for the equator, you can ask some of the Witchy Facebook groups or even start to make your own by observing nature and the seasons in Thailand in your area for a year and see what happens! When the days are a little bit shorter or longer. What happens with the flora and fauna. Also I LOVE Thailand I have been there and I hope you totally write a book for the Modern Witch in Thailand! :)

I would not recommend wiccan books to beginner practitioners. Wicca is more religion based. And witchcraft is not. Not all witches will agree with the wiccan path. Learning wicca is not a requirement for learning magick.
