Holy shit, these are the cases we needed in 2017. August is too long to wait. I hope we see reviews soon. Such tasteful and elegant RBG lighting, so I might actually build a new rig in one of these cases with a little RGB or defused lighting thrown in. Also loving those new fans. Sorry Thermaltake and Coolermaster. You've both failed to deliver so my next case + fans will most likely be a Phantek.

I've been rocking the Evolv ATX TG for the past 2 years and loved it! With some minor gripes... and every one of those gripes was answered... even the minor annoyances! Big things like airflow was addressed. I have a push/pull at the front to try and compensate, but not very effective. But also little things like the fan splitter placement could be better as my aio barely reached the hub. It's like they read my mind!

I LOVE PHANTEKS! THEY DO EVERYTHING PERFECTLY! I love the Original Phanteks Evolv ATX, but the main thing I was worried about was the airflow, but *whaddaya know!* They fixed that! I also wanted to vertically mount my GPU, but a bracket cost like $60, but *waddaya know!* They added that too! Those are just two examples. Its like Phanteks read my mind...

I was brainstorming on which case/bracket to mod so I can vertically mount my 3slot GPU (EVGA 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent, it actually has a 3slot I/O Bracket). But, waddaya know! Phanteks put a 3slot vertical mount in that case!

As an Evolv TG owner, holy shit. Do they take trade ins? They pretty much took every mod people like us have done and pushed it into production. Awesome job.
@rcradiator6 жыл бұрын
Michael Brennan I'd still have preferred if they took an approach like the P600 shown and made a front panel that could either be solid or mesh. The Evolv X does improve on front panel airflow, but slapping a thick rad with high fin density on the front without push pull configuration and or static pressure optimized fans is still a bit sketchy, especially as they spent so much time fixing the case for more flexibility with watercooling. Then again, it had to have have the Evolv look, so I don't really know.

i have a evolv TG. i did a few mods which basically is what they did here. i bought aftermarket (modmymods) top and front panels with built in cut outs for better airflow. i added the led kit with a strip behind the front panel so it glows out of the sides. but if i would have known, maybe i would have held off on those extras since each panel was like $80 bucks.

Phanteks is my favorite case manufacturer, and this is a perfect example of why. Every other $200 case I've seen has felt like a marginal upgrade from the plethora of ~$100 cases, but the Evolv X truly feels like a premium case. I don't even have a use for all of its premium features and I still found myself feeling a little tempted. I've had my eyes on the Enthoo Pro M for a pretty long while, but now I wonder if I should wait to see if it receives a refresh like these two cases.

If your going for watercool yeah this is one of the best cases. However the minimal airflow which you can clearly see from the top and front will be an issue for users with a better than average component build. Let’s say running 21:9 resolution games maxout. If you run games on a 1080p resolution you probably won’t have issues with heat but it could still get hot.
