Agree Kenny, i bought a Marlin 60 in stainless steel. Love the tube fed and extremely accurate. A classic. God bless you

Marlin made this same model and rebranded it for Big Box stores to sell. Western Auto sold one under the name "Revelation". They had the 19 round mag and darker wood. My Dad bought me one in 1963 or so but he liked it so well and kept it behind the seat of his pick up. We shot it for years and I can not ever remember cleaning it other than a bore brush occasionally.

I have one these made in 1985, mine is new enough to have the last round hold open but old enough to still have the longer 18 round mag tube. People dont like tube fed 22's these days but I've found most box fed 22's have feeding issues due to the cartridge being rimmed. Rimmed cartridges were designed to be used in tube mags and these rifles just run. Rotary mags work well too but a Marlin model 60 has much sleeker more refined lines than any Ruger 10-22.

I bought one new around 1985 for $100-$120 before I really knew anything about guns. I let it her go like so many others before I ever shot it much. Wish I'd never done that. Good review brother Kenny.
