I just got the Hiby R4 x Evangelion Ltd ed. and I have some question. What settings to use for minimum battery drain? Is it possible to kill the MOBILE_RADIO process? Is it the Wifi process so when that is turned off the process goes away too? I've listened to 6x50 min music, half from high gain & max volume and connected to an active premium 2.1 system, other half of the tot. time on low gain & volume 43 on easy driven magnetic planar iems. The battery dropped from 92% to 50% for less than 6 hours of use. This is too much! Is there a way to delete hiby music app and will the battery life be better using UAPP instead of Hiby music?

Helllo! I wouldn't suggest killing the mobile radio process. While it seems it is probably just used for wifi but not having it couldnt cause bootloops or maybe even brick your device. In my opinion the hiby music is more optimised but you can try and see if uaap works better., for me the best way of saving battery was killing play services and play store and other google apps as they were the biggest battery drainer. Again i say that do these at your own risk, i generally play it safe and dont do too much as if the device bricks it will be hard to reciver it as these are not popular devices. Thats a great question! I think so not as this doesn't have any microphone support. But i am still not sure, i highly suggest emailing the hiby support and confirming it they are very helpful. The battery life is very good if you run it via 3.5 local files. I forgot the exact numbers, but i shared them in the battery section of the review. My ears have been spoiled with high quality audio and actual experience with acoustics performing on a stage. Most phones don't provide the audio experience I need to be satisfied. With my precious LG V60 on its last legs, I figure a quality DAP is the inevitable step for me to take.

1. People who want a single use device 2. Daps have higher quality audio components 3. Although dongle dacs exists, they dangle and suck your phones battery These 3 are main reasons why some use DAP 🙂 Thanks for the genuine comment bro 🙂❤️appreciate it

My personal reason is decentralizing my phone. Yes, smartphones can do just about anything. However, the music player on my Samsung s23 has a lot of lag and sometimes feels like it's chewing my song up. I constantly have notifications pop off and disturb the songs, and when I go to KZbin to listen to music I am first hit with waves of videos either trying to sell me something or just terrible news. As an American, this year more than ever I do not want to be on social media. I do not want to be near news. I do not want anything but good music. So yeah..... Music brick go burrrrrrrrr
