10:07 was when we already played our first ever season (2004/2005) in the Bundesliga. We equalized to make it 1-1 in Mönchengladbach in the very last second of stoppage time and Klopp ran over the pitch to celebrate with the team in front of the guest section with our fans in it. 😅

Championship does NOT clear the Bundesliga 2., the EFL Championship is a parachute league with almost all 3 of the relegated Premier League teams being repromoted back up. Maybe it does clear in footballing talent but in every other aspect, it is not better than the Bundesliga 2. There are more passionate fanbases in the Bundesliga 2. compared to the Championship, as well as more iconic clubs like Hamburg, Koln, Schalke, Karlsruhe, and Kaiserslautern. Compare that to the Championship where you only have 2 iconic teams in Blackburn and Leeds; you can really see just how stacked the German 2nd division is.

The 2nd Bundesliga may have bigger attendances (population size helps) but the English Championship teams would beat the majority of the zweite Bundesliga as they're wealthier and have higher quality players. Leeds would beat Hamburg or Köln!

Not really. We cannot know for sure, but in the friendly matches before the season the 2. Bundesliga teams have a higher winrate against English teams including Premier League teams (stats from the last 5 years) - but it's only friendly matches and the 2. Bundesliga starts earlier, so they are in different phases of the pre-season. English championship teams often have overpriced players, so the marketvalue is not a good stat for comparision. I would say the quality is almost equal between Championship and 2.Bundesliga. Population is not the reason for the big difference in the number of attendances - it's because of big teams with loyal fans and the prices. Championship is not as bad as Premier League, but still much more expensive than any German stadium.
