years ago 32 acp was the highest permited caliber that citizens could own here in brazil. when they stepped up and permitted the 380, i kept my beretta platform taurus pt 57. it saved my life 3 times. now we can own up to .45 acp thanks god.

John Browning designed the .32 acp as a self defense round. Any one of those bullets tested will kill with shot placement. I think we gun enthusiasts are over thinking pistol calibers. You'll never see performance like a 9mm or other duty oriented calibers.

Beretta Tomcat 3032 with the tip up barrel... A little pricey but it's a classic that is still in production. Nice pistol.

I just use FMJ in my P32 for adequate penetration and to avoid JHP rimlock.

When a company who makes its money selling ammo publishes their tests suggesting you're better off carrying the less expensive ammo that says a LOT about what great integrity Lucky Gunner Ammo has! It would be very easy for them to show results suggesting you needed the higher priced super-duper rounds, but nope, they stuck to the real results and Fiocchi FMJ (i.e. the cheap-but-very-good stuff) is what does best overall. This is one reason why they are my favorite place to order ammo!

Walther PPK in 32ACP.... never fails. Excellent combination. Take it deer hunting for any follow up dispatch shots. Works every time. Small light and compact, easy to carry on my belt, no hassle at all.

The p-32 is my favorite carry gun (it's all but invisible in a pocket), and I always use FMJ in it. Thanks for going to the trouble to test and post these results.

I've been carrying the kel-tec 32 with a one round extended mag for years. Never had a problem with it. Love the gun.

I would to see you guys add the Lehigh Defense/Underwood Xtreme Penetrators and Xtreme Defenders. They even make one (Lehigh) for .33 ACP called the Xtreme Cavitator. And it looks… either scary or goofy depending on your POV. Anywho, it would be interesting to see how they compare. Great work as always.

I am really liking the 55gr Underwood extreme defenders in my p32 so far. I would love to see some testing of them, but all I can find are the older Cavitators.
